Most pleasurable experience EVER with car purchase On my way with my son Brandon to look at a car, I turned into this dealership. My son was not happy and expressed it. Just then right in front of me was this Subaru Outback Sport. Wow, a car my son always wanted and spoke about and here is one in beautiful condition. He had to get out and look and then it just got better. It's a manual and has only 41k. Now the first two check marks on his wish list are checked. He met the young salesman Hector Salcedo. Great personality, not pushy but a real person. They went for a ride and I started to dread going in to talk. Brandon never bought anything let alone a car so as his mother I listened but as a single mother I questioned everything. I honestly have to say right here, the sales manager Ian was honest, patient and listened without any nasty sales pitch. He gave advice and said if we needed anything else he was here for us. Then after all was said and done, the price was a deal breaker. This dealership offers full coverage with 24/7 roadside, tow and rental not mentioning every part on the car is covered. Brandon travels heavy, this was more than anyone offered! Now, we could not commit, I'm not kidding. I feared the entire package must have something I'm not seeing and I'm looking out for Brandon. I cannot make-up my mind because I always give myself 24hrs to step back, think and then act. No pressure, another manager came by and said " you both look like you need time, it's not a problem, go and think it over, take Hector's cell phone number and call him with any question, let him know whatever you decide. Wow- No money deposit, nothing signed. We felt guilty leaving after all the time spent, we feared losing the deal and the car. After more research at home and friends advice, we knew this deal was un-real. We returned to place the deposit and move forward. I have to say now it got even better because Brandon had no credit, the financial advisor, Elway sat with us, explained every line with a number, answered every question and more. I trust no-one, life has not been easy for me as a single mother and alot of people take advantage of you when you do not know the questions to ask. Elway took his personal touch with a sincere honest concern, he said "I can lay my head down at night and sleep". To meet him is to know this is true. They took care of everthing. I recommend CERTI-CARE in Huntington NY to anyone looking for a car, best price, best selection of cars with low mileage but customer service is the quality you only hope for and it's here. More

John was friendly and willing to answer our questions. Even though the car we were initially interested was not available, John did not pressure us into looking at a car outside of our price range. He helped us find a car within our price range and with low mileage. We decided to purchase the car after the test drive. We did not have to wait long for a credit application to be approved because we had filled out a credit application online the day prior to going to the dealership. This was a nice convenience. The Finance guy (I don't remember his name) did not give us a hard sell on extra warranties,etc. This was refreshing as well. I will definitely go back for my next car. More

We dealt with Shamika Luciano and Iam Goldaum, and we knew right away we were being treated with respect and honesty. First, unlike our previous experiences elsewhere, the price on the internet was the price of the car! Although that seems funny believe it or not many prices you see on various sites are not the price when you sit down to talk money. We had one place tell us the price was $2,000 above the internet price.' Second, we were not given the hard sell on extra warranties, etc. They did their job in reviewing things, but not with the gloom and doom if you don't sell. Most importantly, Shamika and Ian made sure our car was ready and safe. Although the del was same day pickup, our car had 4 ouststanding recalls on it. Unlike many of the practices you read about, they sent the car to Hyundai and made sure all the recalls were done, even though.it delayed the deal a day or two. If you want honest, friendly salespeople who are there to make sure they get repeat customers, then this is the place to go. ` More
Horrible experience/would not recommend Stopped in to check out the used Inventory because I'm in search for a car. I had heard good things about this place so I said let's check it out . I was approached by JD, who off the bat something didn't sit well with me about him. He showed me 2 cars (that's all) let me test drive a Hyundai around a block and then had me come inside. Never did he ask if I liked the car or if i was interested. He kept pushing to let's sit and talk and have the numbers ran. I said ok , only out of curiosity, so I would see what numbers they gave me. In the meantime JD tried to play the game of how he's gonna get me a great deal blah blah blah. He begins to tell me that this location is a no haggle no pressure friendly environment. That's b.s. when it comes to him. I asked him to give me the carfax and he continually brushed it off saying we will get to that when the numbers and credit come back, I waited over an hour for the numbers to be generated and Jd even left the location to go to another car dealership for 20 minutes while I waited. He finally returns to the dealership comes up to me and says has anyone come to talk to you while I was gone I said no. He goes and grabs a manilla folder and shows me that he had already sold this particular car ,by phone, and a deposit was left on it and it was to be picked up in a few days. He goes onto say," I'll void that deal sell it to you since your physically here and forget the other guy." He also on the same folder shows me the price the guy was paying and says,"look I already sold it for $11,500 and I'm getting it to you for $10,999, just so you see that I'm not xxxxxxxxxxxx you." With that i said, well if your charging this guy more money and going less for me, wouldn't that be opposite of everything you said about no haggling, no xx kind of place? Why cant i negotiate cheaper then? JD had no answer. I caught him in his lie. All this and I'm still waiting for numbers on monthly payments and such so finally I said listen I need to go and he finally gets numbers and goes," I got you the deal of a lifetime, say thank you Jd, say thank you Jd.." He goes onto say," $325 dollars a month at 18 percent interest rate" I said that's the deal of a lifetime? He said yes. Also still no carfax I requested. With that, I realized I wasted my time and I said how I have received a much lower offer on a newer car and interest rate under 10 percent, which was completely true. JD jumped out of his chair and stood up and began screaming at me, "well then get out of here. You got a better deal elsewhere? Lower then 325?" Yes I said, "then leave but don't you ever come back here!" I was like wow this guy is a lunatic haha. He followed me into the parking lot and continued saying don't ever come back here . I was floored by this guy. So unprofessional, he was an xxxxxxx, a sleezeball. I would never recommend this place to anyone. That's no way to treat a customer!! It also should be noted that when I test drove the car it wreaked of cigarette smoke honestly like it was a fresh smoked cigarette. That smell should be gone before you have someone test drive and attempt to sell it or in this case it was already even sold... More

Internet price is xxxxxxxx once you get there 3rd car (well would of been) sales person was as sweetheart 10 ++++++ management had him show us a few cars , we picked one all was so smooth then man 3rd car (well would of been) sales person was as sweetheart 10 ++++++ management had him show us a few cars , we picked one all was so smooth then management hit us $3,700 over the Internet price which was pure xxxxxxxx they thought we were stupid and not aware of their web site which has the prices!!all the while when he was talking to manager we were on their web site !! DUH!! When the poor salesman saw that he said he was not aware of that price . That's when the manager stepped in Rob Roward and said that's the sale price if you advertise w/ dealer , which was our intentions. Then he said ' well I can save you $200 of the over inflated price!! What a joke . Then apparently the owners son Tom Curtain who calls himself the GM said if we don't like it get the xxxx out .bye bye this location will make a wonderful location for any retail store! BYE BYE More

Certicare is not the same, although my salesman John kraft was nice and wasn't pushy I didn't feel the same love from the rest of the experience. It was all about the sale not the service. It was not the same friendly experience I had in the past. Although, my ratings were low my salesman, John kraft was very accommodating. It was the management that was the problem, in particular Ian Goldbaum. He felt the need to send me a snotty e-mail when my father was in the hospital having brain surgery. This was because I was unable to pick the vehicle up quick enough for him, although I had already purchased the car. I felt it was all about the end of the month quotas not the customer satisfaction.
