What some other 1-star reviews said absolutely true. I went in with my wife and found the car I wanted on their website with a price of $11,000. However, after test driving I noticed a sticker on the car showing they added on $4500 worth of aftermarket services/equipment. I told the salesman right then, “$11,000 is OK I am paying cash, but I don’t want the rest of that.” He told me, “Well, I am not sure I can get them to take it off. I’ll ask, maybe it’s your lucky day…” We go inside and sit down at his desk. He asks me to fill out an application. I told him he needed to check to see if the extras will be removed. He ignores me and asks me more questions to fill in his application (why am I applying if I am going to give him a check?) It’s a good deal so I oblige him. I ask him to pay the tax/title/etc. He says no. Fine, worth a shot. We agree on 12,200. He then goes to his manager, who comes back with the paperwork. Salesman left with a written offer of $12,300. Manager comes back with an offer of $16,600. They are still trying to push their $4500 add-ons. I have just wasted an hour of my day. I stand up and tell him that I am leaving. “I was clear what I wanted and I was ignored.” I get up and manager is trying to get me to stay, saying, “Work with me here.” I get out and get in my car… except the dealer has parked a car (it has a sales sticker in the window) behind mine. The salesman saw us drive up, knew where we were parked, and I believe had someone park a car behind me when he saw I wasn’t thrilled about the tax/title fees. My wife said she saw the salesman talk to someone that immediately ran out of the building as he walked with the first offer to the manager. I walk back in and ask a nearby employee to move the car (first time I asked for this). He acts as if he’s going to take care of it. I walk back to my car and am sitting there when the manager runs back out with the new deal for the original 12,300. Against my better judgement, we went back inside. The blocking car has not moved. After a few minutes my wife asked the salesman to move the car (2nd time), as he is sitting across from us. He looks at me and says, “You are getting a new car, you should be happy.” I looked him dead in the face and said, “I’m not happy.” The $12,300 is a good deal and is the only reason I am staying. The salesman takes us over to the waiting area for the finance guys, and tells us they’ll be with us shortly. My wife notices they STILL have not moved the car blocking us. She gets up and tells a person (3rd request) to move the car. It’s obvious they are doing what they can to prevent me from leaving. We wait for about 15 minutes. Car hasn’t moved. She gets up and tells yet another person she must leave immediately, and the car must be moved. At that point someone runs out and moves the car. The fact that they pulled this kind of shenanigans just burns me to the point that I decide, these jokers aren’t getting a dime from me, good deal or not. I walk past a finance guy, tell him my name, and that I am no longer interested in the car. I walk past the front desk where several men were sitting and tell them the same thing. One just jumps up like he’s sitting on an ejector seat, and asks, “What’s the problem sir?” I ignored him and left. Moral of the story is: DON’T BUY A CAR FROM HUNTINGTON BEACH CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM. You’ll get taken by a shady, smarmy, stereotypical used car salesman. More

If I could I wouldn’t give them a star at all! I was pre-approved with capital one. Went to the dealer and showed them my offer. The finance guy came back and said oh this is wrong and that I would need pre-approved with capital one. Went to the dealer and showed them my offer. The finance guy came back and said oh this is wrong and that I would need to put down another $1500.00 in order to get my payment where capital one had it originally at. To sum up the story, they put on a “courtesy guard etech AND H.B paint protection”. Two things I did not need and did not discuss at all. Both off those “shady” add ons cost me $2500. No wonder my payment changed from capital one and no wonder they said I needed more money down! Their story was that the loan offer was not correct. It’s my fault that I didn’t catch the hidden fees until I returned home. This place is horrible and super shady. They knew what payment I could afford and completely took advantage of me. I got totally scamed ,discussed finance for 60 months,then I went for a lesser value car they included a service contract and other crap that has no value to me for the same monthly,It was not u months,then I went for a lesser value car they included a service contract and other crap that has no value to me for the same monthly,It was not until I got home and read thru it they had switched it to 84 months,There is a culture of greed and deception in that dealer ship If any one reading this ever has any business there remember just walk out if it feels like you are getting ripped because you probably are More
