I went to this dealership last year, in order to start shopping around for a PT Cruiser. I had told them what I was willing to pay, we talked about monthly figures--and they said they would shop a loan fo shopping around for a PT Cruiser. I made it clear that I was NOT applying for one yet, but gave them my information, so they could do the credit check in order to get interest rates. well, I get this call that said, "Congratulations, we found you a loan, you can pick up your car!" I said "what? You were just supposed to be getting me figures!" Of course, the figure was too high, and by then I was most unhappy that they had secured a loan without my permission. I told them the deal was off (I had not signed any papers) and drove my old car for another year, I was so scarred by my experience. I did eventually buy my PT Cruiser, but not from this dealer! More
