I am a former customer of Humes Chrysler Dealership. I I am a former customer of Humes Chrysler Dealership. I have leased several Jeeps from them in the past. I purchased my 2011 Jeep Grand Cheroke I am a former customer of Humes Chrysler Dealership. I have leased several Jeeps from them in the past. I purchased my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee at Lakeland Auto in Greenville,PA in Oct. 2010, after trying to purchase the same vehicle at Humes. Humes only offered $500 off new sticker on a used 2011 Jeep the owners daughter drove 2500 miles on. I took my business elsewhere that evening. Apparently Humes sells so many vehicles, they didnt want my sale. I had taken this vehicle to my regular mechanic for a routine oil change. He notified me of a leak in the shock. Warranty work. I called Humes. They are a certified Chrysler dealership capable of handling the warranty work. I waited for my appointment for 3 wks. The appontment was scheduled for shock repair. After having my vehicle for 24 hrs., I was told they needed to order parts. Again, the appointment was made for shock repair. A Jeep dealership with no Jeep parts. I was referred to the service mgr who was rude and treated me terribly. When questioning how long they would need my car, they told me I would get my car back, "running or not". I asked to speak to the store mgr, Matt Clark. After sharing my experience with Mr. Clark, he told me "it is my fault for being treated this badly by his dealership. Had I bought my vehicle from Humes, I wouldnt have been treated this bad. Go to the dealer I purchased the vehicle from." This is a direct refusal, of Humes, to provide to me Chrysler Warranty Work. After calling the toll free Chrysler phone number and going through 2 customer service reps to report my ill treatment, Chrysler takes NO responsibility for dealerships interactions with Chrysler consumers. They told me to report them to the Better Business Bureau, in which I have started proceedings with. I have never been treated so badly. Warranty work for my Jeep should be provided by ANY JEEP DEALERSHIP whether purchased at their dealership or not! Humes is the largest in my area. They are also the most arrogant dealership to deal with. I will NEVER give them my business, nor will the 6 loyal Jeep consumers in my family. I am also a hairstylist with a large clientelle, who will all hear my story of how Humes treats customers. More people should walk away from thier gross neglegence, as I have done. More
