My salesman Todd was great. We had visited several dealership to purchase a vehicle. Todd was by far the friendlyist, knowledgable, and patient. Hughes Honda's Service department failed to meet my personal satisfaction as a customer due to the valuable time lost in the waiting room. I arrived with the simple request of having my tires rotated a personal satisfaction as a customer due to the valuable time lost in the waiting room. I arrived with the simple request of having my tires rotated and two hours later, was notified that this would not be possible due to the condition of my tires. I was furthermore told my right brake light was out and my engine was in need of a new air filter. A replacement of my tires to complete my original request of a tire rotation was denied as there were no tires in stock. The only service performed on my vehicle was a recall on the power doors. I left the dealership 3 hours after my arrival without any service as the power doors were not operating correctly and my right brake light in perfect condition. I do not recommend the service department to any future customers but do send out a humble thank you to their welcoming receptionist. More
We bought a brand new Honda Civic today, & got a great deal. We got approved for a certain amount, and didn't quite have enough, but the people at Hughes Honda worked their magic, & we got the car t great deal. Instead of having to " Settle" for a car that we didn't. I couldn't get my bank to give us the extra money we needed, but Eddie did. Not only did he get the extra amount that was required, but even got me a great deal. We got a black, on black leather, for just a few dollars more than a black on black cloth. My wife and I went to this Honda dealership expecting something else from what we were shown. The sales associate Stephen Gore was very rude. When we took the Civic for a test drive first off I've never something else from what we were shown. The sales associate Stephen Gore was very rude. When we took the Civic for a test drive first off I've never had a person make my wife sit in the back when we test drive a vehicle. Second Mr. Stephen Gore not only sat in the front seat but also sat so far over into my side of the vehicle I couldn't comfortably drive. It was a very uncomfortable experience. After we went inside to talk about the financing of the vehicle I actually thought I might get the car, after all they were having a clearance sale on the civics. They were taking $2000 off of the sticker price. It brought the price of the base model civic down to $17k. After Stephen brought all the paperwork back he had raised the price $4000 to $21k! So they took off $2k then added $4k. This weekend happened to be Memorial Day. I also happen to be an injured veteran. Mr. Stephen Gore didn't care to be bothered to try to help me out or deal with me. I couldn't believe this guy basically ran me out of the show room. Especially since they were supposed to be open until midnight every night that weekend. I also couldn't believe Stephen Gore told me "go to Lowe Toyota down the road because this is Honda and we don't have rebates like Toyota" I did go to Toyota and bought a brand new Camry. They worked with me and helped me out. They apparently felt like selling cars that weekend unlike Stephen Gore at Hughes Honda in Warner Robins, Ga. More
I would recommend this dealership because they were friendly and personable. They did not keep me all day and we test drove everything I wanted to see. Upon arrival at dealership, Jim Blanton greeted us. He asked if we had anyone we would like to work with and I requested Buddy Dy. I appreciated the fact that Jim gave us the option of what salesperson w asked if we had anyone we would like to work with and I requested Buddy Dy. I appreciated the fact that Jim gave us the option of what salesperson we wanted. I first met Buddy Dy back in 1996 when I purchased a 1996 Honda Accord from him, (which we still have and it has over 300,000 miles on it)! He was very pleasant to work with in 1996 and he hasn't changed one bit! Buddy is an awesome salesman and is not pushy at all. I appreciate that about Buddy. Once the initial offer was given, I told Buddy what I wanted to counter offer with and that I was not going to waste his time or my time bickering back and forth. He immediately told me he was on my side and I was in no way wasting his time. He took my counter offer and within a few minutes, I had an offer that I accepted on a 2013 Honda Accord EX-L. Buddy called me the next day and conveyed his appreciation for me asking for him specifically. Buddy Dy is an awesome guy. If and when he decides to retire, Hughes Honda will lose one of the best!!
