I have been driving for over 59 years and have owned many cars over the decades. This service department is incompetent and totally unresponsive. We bought a 2021 Genesis G90 through Daniel of the sales de cars over the decades. This service department is incompetent and totally unresponsive. We bought a 2021 Genesis G90 through Daniel of the sales department who was superb.. But as for the service department, the treatment could hardly be worse. Yes, they can do an oil change and rotate your tires. No problem. But they don't have a clue about more involved service for a luxury car. I had problems with the GPS properly tracking the car on 3 trips using its on-board mapping . I contacted Genesis USA and they set up an appointment with this service department. The service department decided that I needed a software update. I was told they were ordering the update and it would be ready to install it in a week. Yet, I searched on-line and found that I already had the most current update. After 4 phone calls to discuss this, I could only leave a message with "Gary", I finally left a message for the service department manager. NOTHING. No response from anyone. I then contacted the Daniel, the salesman and he used his influence with his sales manager and in-turn, the service manager. Surprise! I had a return call before the end of the day. I was told the update was in and I should bring it in the next day. I did so. After 2 hours, I was told by Gary, that I already had the most current software but an update was still showing as "on order". I was miffed. Why didn't they determine that I already had the most current update when I first brought in the car? What else could be causing the problem? What else could they do? I called the service department and Renee answered. I complained that I had wasted 5 phone calls and 2 hours and the problem wasn't adequately addressed.. She was very apologetic and concerned. She promised to have someone get back to me ASAP to discuss the situation. Again NOTHING! I again called my sales guy. He promised to pass on my concerns to his manager and the service manager. Again, NOTHING! So, after paying over $80,000 for a car, I received responses and service as though I was a leper or a vagrant or some sort of miscreant. This is not how to build a brand or reinforce what was once a positive reputation with me. I will no longer even think about using this service department. All I needed was someone to call me and address my concerns and complaint. I didn't expect anything else. Not even money. I just wanted them to show me that they cared and would explore other possible solutions. Clearly, they did not care! And the problem has not been solved or addressed to any reasonable extent. More

I just want to say thank you Eric and the whole service staff for making the whole process as smooth as possible. Carmen Porras More
Would give a ZERO if it was offered. I have a 2013 chevy sonic. Decided to take it to Huffines plano for 2 problems. The 1st, the air bag light kept coming on. The 2nd, a/c wiring harness had a short at the sonic. Decided to take it to Huffines plano for 2 problems. The 1st, the air bag light kept coming on. The 2nd, a/c wiring harness had a short at the wire connection. Already knew where the short was, just hard to get to. The service tech diagnosed both issues. The air bag light was, according to him/her, was due to a seat belt tensioner on the drivers seat at the tune of over $400. The a/c needed a new connector and recommended a drain and recharge at the tune of close to $200. The a/c worked beautifully other than the short. I chose to have them go ahead with both repairs although In the back of my mind I didnt want the recharge. When I picked it up at the end of the day, the air bag light didnt come on but the a/c was blowing 2 temperatures. Was cool when sitting at a light but got cold when the rpms were up. I brought this to there attention. They suggested bringing it back in. The next day, I dropped it off. They called me and said the the a/c was within GM specs, BUT the air bag light had come on while he was driving it. This time, said the wires were spliced on the passenger seat so soldered the wires together. So the 1st repair I paid for was the wrong repair. All they had to do was solder a couple of wires, but didnt reimburse me for the original repair. I was left with an a/c system that doesnt cool like it use to when at idle and paying for the wrong repair from the air bag light. Have had several of my coworkers where I work at said they wont go there from this experience. One person said they were actually looking at a new vehicle but backed out from the experience I had of the service dept. Was concerned about the service after the warranty was over with. While I was waiting for the car to be brought to the front, I had struck up a conversation with another customer that said he has had to take his equinox in to the service dept several times for the same issue and a wallet that was drained quite a bit over his visits without really getting the vehicle fixed. More

Nathan was excellent and took care of my car the moment I walked in to the service center. He is very good and explained the problem and called me back with updates and suggestions.
