Traded-in my car. Got fair value and Habby was honest, professional, and unbelievably kind. He was reasonable and thoroughly explained the process. This is the first service center within a dealership that I have used -- I have always used my own car mechanic in the past because of all the horror stories I heard about dealer service centers. After 2 ye I have used -- I have always used my own car mechanic in the past because of all the horror stories I heard about dealer service centers. After 2 years of utilizing Hudson Subaru Servic Center, I can honestly tell you I have not had one negative experience. As a matter of fact, I enjoy going because the technicians are friendly, respectful, and honest, and my car is always serviced at its scheduled time --- I am in and out without a hitch. The Service Advisor, John, is an absolute professional and a pleasure to interact with....he is knowledgeable, courteous, and truly wants his customers to be happy and satisfied. For example, I have had two occasions whereby two separate tires developed slow leaks....both times, the tires were inspected (nails found) and repaired, and I was not charged for the service. Let it also be known that on the second occasion, I drove in without an appointment and was immediately taken care of. This service center knows how to do business. And, may I add, that the dealership sales office is excellent as well. My entire Subaru experience has been awesome since Day 1. More
I bought my Subaru Forester in Jan 2013. Took my car to the dealer for the 1st service in May 2013. On 5/03/13 - My car got hit by a 3rd party on the Dealer Premise while the mechanic was driving the car the dealer for the 1st service in May 2013. On 5/03/13 - My car got hit by a 3rd party on the Dealer Premise while the mechanic was driving the car. John (service manager) provided a loaner car (Impreza) and promised that the car will be fixed by 5/08, but since I am out of the town I can pick it up by 5/10. Waited until 5/09, I received not a single call from the Dealer CSR or Service dept whether the car is ready or not . Finally, I called the salesman (Giorgio) & sales manager (Simon) who sold the car to me, but I am told to "CHECK WITH SERVICE DEPT since this incident happened in Service". Salesman promised that someone will call me in "SHORT TIME", but not a single call on 5/09.... On contrary, I received at least 7 "automatic service reminder" calls within 3 days, before the date of service, although I asked to "STOP" this reminder calls. I wish they spent that energy and infrastructure in "after-sale" or "after-service" courtesy calls No one calls on 5/10. Again I had to call on 5/10 to check on the update.... Again I am promised that someone will get back to me shortly. Today it is 5/13, I am yet to receive any calls from CSR, sales manager, or service manager. I had planned a road trip with bunch of friends over the weekend, but the loaner car (Impreza) was too small compared to my SUV (Forester). In order to avoid ruining my weekend plans, I had to rent a car from Hertz at the end moment. I am disappointed to see the total lack of courtesy and customer service in dealing with this incident which happened on their premise. I am also disappointed to see the lack of coordination between Sales & Service department. The customer is being treated as ping-pong ball. Last but not the least, I am yet to receive any update on the my request for the compensation for this incident. I purchased a 3 year "Free Maintenance Service" plan which was explained as "it will cover all maintenance and service needs for 3 years and all I will have to worry about is Gas and Tires".... But to my surprise, I find out that there WILL BE few things, which will NOT be covered under my plan during future service, hence as a compensation to this incident, I am offered "ONE Free service". I have also purchased an "extended warranty plan" which will kick-in after the Manufacturer warranty runs out... Now I am not sure whether I made a right decision buying the Car from this dealer, let alone the extended warranty and maintenance+service plans !!! Pathetic customer service !! More
I had such a great experience at Subaru that I ended up driving home with another car when my only intentions were to sell my car. He was great at following up with me initially and thats what made me come in, but I was only coming in to sell my car! I had a great experience with him because he was not all about the sale. He talked highly of his company and the cars they have and actually made me interested in checking out their inventory. He sold me into buying another car from their company! GREAT GUY. GO IN AND ASK FOR HABBY. More
