The issues I have are small, but often AND I have never left a negative review in my life, but feel it is important this time. Here are several highlights of my experience with Hudson Nissan. It is important to note that I bought a brand new 2014 Altima SV from this dealership and my sales associate was fabulous up until we signed over the car to us. 1. When I left the dealership after purchase the inside of the car was dirty. Dirt smudge on the steering wheel and the console. I had to go back to the dealership to get my BRAND NEW CAR detailed. I was told that my sales associate should have been responsible for that, but (excuse #1 of many) because I bought the car so late he may have not had time or forgot. I bought the interior/ exterior waranty for fabric and paint. $700 value. I asked for my car cleaning kit because I did not receive when I purchased car. I was told that my sales associate should have given to me when I purchased. My oil change warning light never came on after 5000 miles, so when I asked they told me my sales associate should have set that up when I purchased the car. So far all of these are small, but they are beginning to add up. 2. When I purchased my vehicle my sales associate told me that this dealership has an outstanding service department with a lane specifically for oil changes. "We have 10 people who only do oil changes." Since I have purchased a vehicle with a care package at Hendrick Jeep and a new Honda at Stokes Honda I thought that it was a nice touch to keep that part separate and since the other dealerships took 45 min - 1hr without a special lane Hudson should be as good if not better. My very 1st oil change I was told 45-1hr. I took a walk and came back in 1 hr. I was told that it could take 45 more minutes to an hour because they got backed up. Here is where I have an issue. If you tell me an hour and it takes 2 you have just unintentionally lied to me and now are wasting my valuable time. One of the service guys helped expedite the oil change, made me feel like I was center of the universe and apologized. It still took 45 min longer than the worst case that I was told. I probably would have been fine, but I was told 1 hr and I expected on my first oil change it would actually go according to how I was told. 3. I had gone in for the oil change warning light and they told me there was a safety recall on my hood latch. I thought it was weird that I wasn't notified about it since it was safety related, but they did the work and I was good to go. 2 months later we get a notice in the mail regarding the recall. I call the dealership to inquire whether it was fixed and what my next steps should be. Person #1 answered the phone, pulled up my name and vehicle info, but could not access my account further. He transferred me to another and then she said she couldn't help but could transfer me to an advisor. I got their voicemail. Since this is a safety issue and I had a busy day, I called back to see of I could just get a quick answer. After calling back and resting my info and question the person who answered transferred me to another voicemail. After calling back again (time #3) I gave my info and my question. I was transferred to a woman who told me that she could pull me up, but in the notes" it looks like they didn't close it out properly and it showed Jones Ford...well this doesn't mean much to you ,but I can't tell you whether the work was done." She asked me to come into the dealership to find out for sure. I told her that it is ridiculous that no one can tell me WHETHER MY CAR HAS HAD A SAFETY ISSUE FIXED OR NOT! She could tell that I was now getting upset so she transferred me to an advisor who guess what...was away from the phone and I got a voicemail! I called back for the 5th time and asked for a manager. They transferred me to someone who listened to me vent and then told me hold on I will transfer you to the service manager. So, I told my story AGAIN and explain ed my frustration with the process, people, and incompetence to answer the question. He pulled me right up and answered my question. Within 10 seconds of him looking he found out that I had completed the repair and I was all set. Here is why I am writing this review and my advice. If you answer a phone to assist people, you must be able to access and assist. It should have not taken me so long to get an answer that could have been answered in seconds. If I was to have taken the advice of the women who told me to come in I would have wasted even more time to get a seemingly simple question answered. I have never once had an easy, seamless, quick, enjoyable experience at Hudson yet. I am ware that noone is perfect and that other dealerships are messy too, but this one has been messy from the start and each time I hear how this is not normal and I will get a better experience next time. I have yet to see that to be true. I also forgot to add that the person who processed my loan forgot to take my down payment and called me a week later to collect...things like that have been the norm with Hudson and I hope that it gets better, but I doubt it. More

Service department I purchased my 2015 Altima SV in October of 2014 , Mikey Lam was excellent as was Casey (finance Manager ) . That's where it kinda stopped for me , I' I purchased my 2015 Altima SV in October of 2014 , Mikey Lam was excellent as was Casey (finance Manager ) . That's where it kinda stopped for me , I've had three negative service department experiences , today being the latest . The past two negative have left me with dread when I have to go to the service department there. The first involved my car making a noise ( which went unresolved ) there was also a black plastic gromit that fell out and Hudson Nissan wanted to charge me for it I called Morris Nissan who was kind enough to mail it to me and I installed it myself that simple , the second I had my car serviced and nearly fell into it as someone had readjusted the seat and not just a little it was on the floor and all the way back and the back was laid back, not my driving position not sure how they were able to see over the steering wheel. Today it was a simple service , I called ahead spoke to Samantha ( very polite and professional) , when I arrived at the dealer I spoke to the service advisor Timmy ,he was also polite and professional, my specific request was that they not run my car through the automated roller wash they have, he noted that on the service order in large letters, needless to say that was done anyway, I prefer to wash my car by hand only , they apologized and noted on my account that I do not want my car washed , that doesn't help the fact that it was done already, after all is said and done its my car and I'm saving them money and time by requesting they not wash it now I will have to spend a good bit of time washing , clay baring and waxing to feel the job has been done correctly ,after getting my car back I started it and the radio was on , at first I didn't notice but I use my Sirius radio always and this was On an fm station ,was already very frustrated by then and wasn't going to turn around or call it would serve no purpose , not to mention I always shut off the radio when I go to the service department , not sure I trust taking my car back there for service for fear what may happen to it that I can't see right away, I plan on calling the corporate customers relations line in the morning , praying that I can take my car to another Nissan dealer for the remainder of my three free years of oil changes . The employees that I seen in the service area had there ear buds in and seemed to be listening to music Not sure that's safe . At least this time the service department staff seemed to want to be there in the past it seemed that me bringing my car in was a bother .. More
