I will always be a return customer. I went to Charleston Nissan to test drive a Rogue on Saturday. My 36 month lease on my Sentra was almost up and I wanted to know my options for early I went to Charleston Nissan to test drive a Rogue on Saturday. My 36 month lease on my Sentra was almost up and I wanted to know my options for early turn in since I was about to hit my max mileage. My sales rep, Michael gave me the BEST experience! Right away he greeted me, showed me the model on property I was interested in and introduced me to the sales manager right away. He made me feel welcome, important and at ease. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the car and all of it's features, taking the time to show me every detail and answer every question I had. My boyfriend came in an hour after I had and Michael took the time to go through it all over again since my second set of ears had arrived after I had told him I was interested in driving it home that day. I informed Michael in our first 3 minutes of meeting my budget - and he and the sales manager did everything in their power to meet me there and did! Michael was with me every step of the way, from the test drive, walking me through the car facts (used car), the negotiations, my x-large cup of coffee around hour 3, all the way through financing AND getting my insurance transferred over. All the while making it a personal experience, telling jokes and sharing my excitement! When it came time to drive my new used car off the lot, he even helped me transfer my life in bags from my old car to my new one (with no judgement - it was super dirty). Before I drove off, we took some super goofy pictures in front of my new ride together and shook hands. It was seriously a pleasure to spend my Saturday afternoon there, which sounds strange, but so true! The time flew by thanks to this guy and I left so very happy and knowing if anything came up I could always call him! You will always have my business and this sales guy is a huge reason why! Tried to Sell me Services that were not Needed I requested an oil and filter change online and stated that I would be waiting for my car. My appointment was at 9 am. I arrived at the dealership at I requested an oil and filter change online and stated that I would be waiting for my car. My appointment was at 9 am. I arrived at the dealership at 8:50 am. I was greeted within five minutes. I also asked that the wiper inserts be replaced. The service technician tried to sell me a brake fluid flush and fuel injection. I stated that I did not want them done. I waited almost two hours for the oil and filter change. I thought the service waiting room was dirty. And when I got the bill, they replaced the entire wiper blade assembly! When checking out, I tried to pay with my Discover credit card and the cashier told me the charge was declined. Upon arriving at home, I called up Discover and was told that no charge was put through on my Discover credit card and there would be no reason to deny the charge. Nobody at the dealership pointed out to where my car was located so I had to search for my car. The plastic covering was left on the seat and the paper mat was left on the floor. Very poor customer service! More

Beyond disappointed I took my car into Charleston Nissan because front driver side door would not open from the inside. I had scheduled an appointment and had stated I wo I took my car into Charleston Nissan because front driver side door would not open from the inside. I had scheduled an appointment and had stated I would be waiting for my car. What I thought would be an easy fix turned into a 4-5 hour ordeal. When I arrived I was told there were recalls on my car that they would take care of (I asked twice but never was told what they were). The initial wait time was about 3 - 3 1/2 hours. I was given a list of things wrong with my car. The first being that my door wouldn’t open because it needed an actuator - and the cost to replace would be in the ballpark of $500. The estimate for that along with the other list of issues supposedly wrong with my car came to over $1,800. I told them I would call around for other estimates before giving them the go ahead to fix the door, etc. It then took about another hour for them to “put my car back together.” While I was checking out, I asked if the recalls had been done. They hadn’t. They asked if I wanted to come back, I said no. They said they would work on them but ended up they could only do one of the two fixes. I paid the $150 service fee and left. I went straight to a mechanic close to where I live and asked if he could give me a quote on replacing the actuator. After answering a few of his questions, he told me it didn’t make any sense and that he would take a look. Sure enough, a simple cable had popped out of place. That’s it. In addition, something else Nissan has mentioned about an oil pump oring (again, around $500), the mechanic laughed and had one laying around and it took him 5 minutes to complete. One of the most concerning parts was when he checked my tire pressure. I had the invoice from Nissan and they listed that the pressure was checked on all tires. When the mechanic checked, every one of them ranged from 25-27 PSI when it should have been 32-33. So I am left wondering what my $150 paid for. Either they were extremely negligent in actually checking out my care or they were deceitful. I’m not sure which is worse. I thought I could trust the dealer to evaluate and fairly charge whatever repairs were needed - never again! At the very least, I hope the manager will get back with me with a solution to rectify these issues. More
