I took my car in for service because it was making a noise in the steering wheel. The shop told me the noise was coming from the brakes and charged me $2,000 for the repair. When my husband went to pick noise in the steering wheel. The shop told me the noise was coming from the brakes and charged me $2,000 for the repair. When my husband went to pick up the car, it was still making the same noise. They then claimed that they had fixed a different noise—one we never noticed—and said the original noise would cost another $2,000 to repair. The whole situation feels like a scam. More
