Awful experience brought my older cadillac to be serviced because the transmission was shifting oddly. I had an appointment for Saturday, but it wasn't until Weds th brought my older cadillac to be serviced because the transmission was shifting oddly. I had an appointment for Saturday, but it wasn't until Weds that it was looked at. The code indicated TCC PC solenoid. The "transmission tech" put 2 quarts of transmission fluid and said that should solve the problem. If not, I would need a new transmission at the cost of $4935.34 plus tax. On my way home from the dealership, the light came on again. I took it to a transmission repair shop, and they replaced the TCC PC solenoid and it cost me $541.00. Did Hudson Cadillac not want to perform the work on my car or were they trying to get me to pay $5000 for a $500 fix??? Either their transmission technician is incompetent or they are dishonest More
