At Hudson Cadillac Buick GMC we were greeted at the door by the owner. When I told him I was looking for a truck he steered me to his 'truck guy'. It was a chilly, windy day and he offered to bring vehicles from the far end of the lot down to the showroom for us to look at. When we were ready for a test drive he just put a plate on and handed me the keys. The trade in value on my vehicle was fair and if we wanted we could have walked out the door with a new truck. For our own convenience we opted to come back the next day, but the bottome line is they were willing to do whatever it took to make the transaction a pleasant experience for us. They wanted to make the sale and it showed. More
My husband and I went to Hudson GMC after visiting one other local GMC dealership. There was no comparison between the two. We were in our new Acadia in no time and have already recommended this dealership/salesman to 2 friends who are in the market for a new car. Mike Vargas and Matt Mullaney were both extremely knowledgable and very easy to deal with. We would definitely recommend this Dealer and were very satisfied with Matt Mullaney as well as any of the other employees we met while we were there. Everyone was friendly and down-to-earth people. We received a really good price for our trade which was a 2008 Saturn Vue. We received an excellent price on our 2012 Terrain which we love!! We received an excellent rate and were able to have the company we want to finance our loan at a great rate. We received a great tip on a wonderful restaurant to eat at which we really loved as well because we are not from the area. Matt was extremely attentive with emails and phone calls when needed. Matt took extra time after hours to go over our vehicle with us to show us its fantastic features and how they work and even did programming for us which we appreciated. It was detailed extremely well when we picked it up as we added the chrome package to it. Only disappointment was that we were told he may be a bit more flexible on the price of our trade which stopped us from going to one other dealership where we had had some service done to get a price on our trade and then when we went back to renegotiate again because we would then not go to that dealer Matt said he had put his best foot forward so he could not go any higher. We accepted that but were a bit disappointed. We, also, did compare another dealership owned by family because we like to purchase at family-owned businesses because we are from that background as well. The other dealership was professional and courteous but did not have the same family feel and their price on the new and the trade was not as good. They did offer other incentives as far as discounts on pricing of the chrome package which were excellent but in the end they did not want our business as bad as they should have. Especially in these hard economic times when purchasing a new vehicle is a big deal and something you must really do your homework on. Matt is actually looking in to finding us a used car for our mother to buy and has offered solid advice as to what type we should look for based on her needs. Matt, also, told us about a clinic which they offer monthly to new owners to help educate you more on your vehicleand feel more comfortable with which I never heard a dealer offer. We're both from an automotive background and we have conducted and set up clinics for our customers (the installer) to receive but didn't know this existed for us the consumers. My husband and I stopped to look at the GMC Denali with no intention to buy. We ended up getting a very good trade-in on our used 2004 GMC Envoy XL and bought an immaculate and gorgeous used 2008 GMC Yuko no intention to buy. We ended up getting a very good trade-in on our used 2004 GMC Envoy XL and bought an immaculate and gorgeous used 2008 GMC Yukon Denali. The dealer, Bobby, was not pushy, and I was impreesed that the owner even stopped over to see if we were getting the best deal his company could provide. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I feel like I am driving a brand new vehicle! I also feel more comfortable knowing that all my service work will be done there, and if there are any problems, they are just a phone call away. It's a good feeling knowing you can get a good deal locally! More

I purchased a used Chevy Trailblazer. Reception from sales was great. Not pushy. They gave time for us to decide and are friendly. They were firm on the price. Little incentive to come down with price or "throw in" extras. However, Mike Vargis accommodated us with some aftermarket floor mats for free as well as a replacement for a missing cup holder. The financial end of the deal was a good experience. We were told directly the cost of the vehicle with a purchased warrantee and no hidden fees. The truck was clean and turnaround time between sales and drive-off was less than 3 days. Both sales and repairs return calls in a timely manner. Repair turnaround time for appointment is very reasonable. Dollar/hour repairs is steep at around $100.00/hour for repairs. However, it seems that repair time is very quick which helps offset that dollar per hour fee. The only issue I had with the used car sales is that the sales manager would not accommodate us for a leak we had from the sun-roof. After three weeks of vehicle purchase,I noticed a leak coming from the right visor. I was told that they would not cover a used car that had a leak and my extended warrantee does not cover leaks. Thankfully it was only a clogged port from the sunroof. I would have been allot happier if sales/service would have at least covered half of the $115.00 charge, as I would expect a thorough inspection prior to releasing a car for sale. More

I had been shopping seriously for this SRX for over a month and had talked to a number of other dealers. Nobody seemed to want to sell me a car because they wouldn't follow-up. Bobby worked with me over the phone to get me the car I wanted for the right price. I took delivery just hours after first talking to Bobby and never even had to set foot in the dealership! Will not hesitate to shop with Hudson again and will pass Bobby's card on to anyone I know who is looking to buy a car. A+++ More

I recently went there to see a used Buick which was listed on AutoTrader.com. Unfortunately, it had just been sold but Bob O'Connell, my salesman, took down my requirements and promised to call as soon as another one came in. The very next morning, Bob called to say they received a trade-in that was in excellent shape AND in my price range. I went back that evening and took it for a spin. The car was exactly what I was looking for and I was so grateful to Bob for giving me first dibs on it (I’m sure it would not have lasted very long on their lot). In addition to my great experience with Bob, I was pleasantly surprised by what the dealer gave me for my trade-in (a car that needed a lot of work). And in addition to all of the above, the service department did approx. $1,300 worth of work on the car—at no cost to me—before I picked it up. Needless to say, I was extremely happy with my purchase and my experience with this dealer! They--and especially, Bob--went above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied. More
