Not Sure How They Sell Any Cars, If They're Never There Drove out to the dealership, cash in hand, to look at a car I was planning on buying that day. Despite arriving 4 hours before their website said they closed, upon arrival (after driving an hour) a mechanic told me all the salespeople were gone for the day. Emailed the dealership explaining what had happened, and that I was still very interested in the car. They apologized, said the salesmen set their own hours, they would update the website, and I should come look at the car. Drove out again (took two hours this time, owing to traffic), but called ahead and spoke with them, was assured someone would be there. We arrived - no one in sight. The car might have been exactly what I wanted, but I won't be returning to Howard Johnson Auto. Ridiculously inconsiderate. On top of that, the website has not been updated. Definitely a case of buyer beware. More
