Went in for a scheduled oil change and while preforming there inspection they where able to find a small leak that was covered under warranty. The appointment system they use makes it efficient to drop off car for service. Something similar to collect the car after service is complete would be preferred. First, they kidnip my vehicle for months. When call to check on the progress, I was told nothing has been done; next, they are not returning calls. They charge for work not required or authorized, then lies about it in final billing. I know my Mercedes is very old, like me.. I requested 3 things: 1) charge the battery and 2) replace the ignition switch 3) if they could put the windows in the up position to protect the interior. Because that was the problem I needed them to repair.. I was already aware of other problems because the car has sat inactive a long while. I didn't authorize a complete inspection costing $600.oo. Taking advantage and abusing a woman almost 70 years old is not a nice or good business sense. Better yet, they put a lein on my car. Before, I could scrape up the money again. The last week of February, I notified him a date of the 16th. I could have the money on March 7th; I got the lien notice. So now I have no transportation. You wonder what happened to the money to pay in the first place.. I had to pay Uber, Lyft, and taxi services to and from everywhere for months. I told the service rep.. he was costing me the transportation cost, way over what I budget for. This should have taken 2 weeks at most, not months to return to me. My advice is that... if you don't have a new or pretty looking vehicle, don't go there. If you do expect to be treated like crap and have deep pockets, More
