Took a truck in at 9 a. m. for oil change and to check tire and to seal leaking tires. Check for truck sticking in reverse. Told them they could keep it all day. When I called I was told they would not have it ready that day. Turns out another customer got put in front of me even after I had made the appointment a week previously. Then they tried to tell me there was nothing wrong with the tires even after I had told them they were down 20 lbs. of pressure after a couple of months of winter storage. I got excuses and hollow apologies from the service manager who caused the scheduling problem. This is the second time I have had trouble with House Ford in Red Wing. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me! I need to add that they will tape your phone conversation with the service manager to put the blame on you and/or exonerate the service manager. Update: I got home and had time to review the bill. I was billed over $160 for them guessing at a diagnosis of the driveability issues with the truck. They didn't even suggest a fix or a part nor did they measure brake pads or do a voltmeter test on the brake switch etc. Do not use the service here unless you want to pay for the hot air spewed by the management and the time wasted for personnel to check their facebook pages and bill you for diagnoses that weren't done. If I could give them less than one star I would. Had an alternator replaced. Ford factory alternator referb because they do not make new any more - but it was still a Ford product - It went BAD - IN LESS alternator replaced. Not only did it lock up and was so hot to the touch you could not touch it. The garbage alternator House put in also fried out my Cluster (and who knows what else because the vehicle wont even start). House Ford refuses to go good on it. They want ME to pay for the damages their product caused. Justin the service advisor, Dwight the service advisor manager and even Jessica the GM all told me straight out that they would not pay for the additional damage the alternator caused to my vehicle. DO NOT go there. Don't buy vehicles there, Don't get your service work done there. If they mess something up or their parts are defective they refuse to go good on it and make things right. More
