Should have went elsewhere I will give their service area a 5/5 because I have gone to them for 7 years on all my maintenance. They have always offered me the greatest service. Now that I decided to buy a car, I feel taken advantage of. I purchased a brand new car, I picked them because of all their amazing service they provided. They will not return my phone calls or emails. They gave me one key and couldn't find the other and were supposed to install a roof rack, did they ever try to contact me or help with those services? Nope... I needed to bring my title in, I live far away. Yes, I would still drive an hour and a half for an oil change. My friend was going to be in the area, she dropped it off for me and I have been calling to see if it was taken care of, no one will call me back on this. For a dealership that I always enjoyed, I wish I would have bought elsewhere. They're only getting two stars due to their maintenance guys, who deserve 5. Their salespeople deserve zero. More

A new salesman Jesus, called to see how my vehicle was running. I told him great, but the management and finance manager were despicable. It is nice to see new management has come to the dealership along with a new finance manager. Now maybe you will obtain better reviews and sell more cars. Jesus was cooperative and understanding and if I needed any help to call him. I have written negative reviews for two previous months after I bought my CX5. The dealer finally reimbursed the GPS I did not want on the vehicle previously. More

Anything for the Sale I purchased a pre-owned vehicle from this dealership even though their fees (tile/processing fess) were $300.00 higher than 2 other offers elsewhere f I purchased a pre-owned vehicle from this dealership even though their fees (tile/processing fess) were $300.00 higher than 2 other offers elsewhere for the same year/make/model. Why? Because the other cars were a better trim and had leather seats, which I didn't want as its AZ and blazing hot. I also went ahead with the purchase as I was offered a free detail, gas tank, and oil change by the sales manager Gabriel- as a means to off-set some of those costs. The detail and gas tank were taken care of, but when I called to schedule the oil change 2 months later, the Sales Manager was no longer the same person I dealt with, and he basically told me that he never said that; thus calling one of his customers a liar. I attempted to resolve this issue with the General Manager Gerry McClendon as he was also part of this deal (he came out to meet me and "sell" me on this deal when I was ready to walk away the day of the sale due to the high fees). Gerry sold me on the "dessert package" which is a package that you supposedly get when you purchase a car at Avondale Mazda. Anyway both managers gave me the run around and told me I was not getting the oil change, and due to the lack of response from Gerry, I am assuming he is also not keeping his word as he has yet to call me back about the package. Btw, the dessert package included items such as a clear coat that helps with minimizing chipping on the paint (done twice per year for 2 years)- but good luck getting that service after your purchase is completed. Side note- the car they sold me had crack on the windshield which is hard to see, and I had to get it fixed thru my insurance as both managers gave me the "Too bad so sad, you probably ran over something" runaround. Other side note- their finance guy Correy literally tried to keep me from paying my fees up-front in order for them to finance a higher loan amount, makes sense as they get a percentage of the interest rate and loan amount. In one word, these guys are HUSTLERS. Lastly, according to Gabe, Gerry is part owner. IF this is true, what an embarrassment, shame on you. More
Almost a Good Experience Everything was five stars until the end. I will start with the good first. I worked with Marcos as my salesman. I called Marcos to set up a test drive for a car I saw on AutoTrader. Marcos was very friendly throughout test drive and was very informative about the car. Any questions I asked he was able to answer it or find someone who knew the answer. We haggled over the price of the car, and we were able to come to an agreement on a fair price. He took off some warranties and fees that I didn't want to pay. Marcos was very friendly and professional. I would work with him again if I needed to. When it came time for financing, I worked with Virginia. Virginia was very kind and extremely helpful through the financing process. I was able to walk out with a great. rate However, Virginia's performance went from GOOD to GREAT after I left. Because of my failure to tell her that I had a co-signer on my preapproval letter, my interest rate was going to go up 2% on my loan, but she was willing to help me get the co-signer who lived out of the state the necessary documents to get the lower interest rate approve. BUT that was not needed. I don't know what she did, but she called me back the next day and said she found a large bank that would give me the lower interest rate without a cosigner. I don't know what she did, but it was AMAZING! She went above and beyond what she needed to do to make sure I was taken care of. Now for the bad, I told Virginia that I did not want the extended warranty when she walked through it with me. After I told her that, her finance manager came in and proceeded to pitch it to me again. I politely listened to his pitch again, and I said "I appreciate the concern and I understand the risks of not purchasing one, but I am not buying it." He then proceeds to pitch it to me again and again and again. I had to tell him NO SEVERAL TIMES before he finally stopped. I was extremely frustrated at him for wasting my time and for him not listening to me. He is the reason this is not a 4 or 5 star review. I treated him and his time respectfully, but he did not do the same for me. Hence why this is a 3 star review. More
