My wife bought a car from Horne Kia several years ago. When she returned to the dealership to try to sell it back -- something that a Horne salesperson had tried to get her to do for over a year -- she wa When she returned to the dealership to try to sell it back -- something that a Horne salesperson had tried to get her to do for over a year -- she was informed that she would be offered well below the market value for the car, since it had been in an accident (with frame damage) before she purchased it. This information was not disclosed to us before she bought the vehicle. You're not required to disclose accident info in Arizona, and we should have checked the vehicle history on our own -- but the lack of transparency is shady at best, and dangerous at worst. If you're in the market for a Kia, we'd highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. More
I went her to look at a nice Buick. I had looked this car up online and this car met some of my qualifications. They were unwilling to budge even a penny and just wanted to start the loan application. They didn't want to do any negotiating at all. The man kept well you know cars are on shortage if you go to any lot you'll see they barely have cars.(like sir there are a lot of car lots near you I could go to those lots) He kept saying well new cars don't have chips now and this car had a chip. However, she was not moving from that 18 thousand car. So I left because it was not the car I absolutely wanted and they were unwilling to even negotiate. The person I was speaking with online emailed me and said to come back in and we could talk but I already went in and was told no. Why would I drive back to be told no again when they keep saying their own internet price was wrong. They have bad service and need to fix the price if its not the correct price. The person who took me on the test drive was fairly new and was really sweet, but clearly didn't know what he was doing because he had to continuous go talk to someone and it seemed as he was just repeating versus just knowing what he was talking about. Had one person ghost me then the next “VIP” rep tell me they had a car, then it was the wrong stock, then after they ran my credit it was the wrong price with a 2k surcharge. If you are interested in being stressed by the strong degree of games this is your dealership. First - was told they do not provide online quotes via email to local buyers. I was originally contacted by David Hughes an Internet Manager. When I told him that's not how I do business he said, "let me know if you change your mind." Prior to writing this review I reached out to Joshua Bauman - General Manager with my concerns and in hopes a deal was possible. What I got back was that dealer add-on's are non-negotiable and they beat any price inclusive of such. Any educated, credit qualified buyer who knows about the car buying purchase shares the cringe-worthy nature of these fees and can opt as I did to take my business elsewhere. Do not be fooled by the low prices online as they have thousands on top for fees and add-ons. Regardless of whatever they respond with know this...you have been warned. More
