Everything was nicely set up friendly staff, the down side was about half of the sales staff was walking around without there mask on inside the facility as if they didn’t need to have one on. The service center at Honolulu Buick GMC gave us absolutely top notch service the very first time we used them. It was so great that we went back again. The second time was nothing short of a nightm absolutely top notch service the very first time we used them. It was so great that we went back again. The second time was nothing short of a nightmare. The service advisor told me it would take 2 days, 3 days at most, and it ended up being SEVEN WEEKS. The service advisor repeatedly, and INTENTIONALLY, lied to me and I ended up having to request a different advisor. The first one gave me her cell number and said she would be in the service area most times and away from her desk. It turns out she was screening my calls so she wouldn't have to deal with me. I called the front area after I couldn't reach her and the gentleman who answered said he was looking right at her, next to her phone, at her desk. He had to make her answer it. She was avoiding me because she knew I was aware of her lying to me. She had told me that my car was being worked on and the engine was already out. It had never even been to the back yet. That was the final straw and we requested the new advisor. A year after this fiasco, we needed an oil change. We took it back hoping that the previous nightmare was a fluke. Not two weeks after the oil change, my alternator went out. We had it to them. They told me my power steering line was about to start leaking at any moment and that I needed an air filter. Why would I need an air filter if you just changed my oil?? Why was none of this caught during the inspection performed during the oil change?? The manager told me that the tech was new and didn't check the things he was supposed to. They told me would be at least 7-10 days for the alternator and power steering line parts to get to them. Why do they never have parts in stock?! I called other dealerships and both days they had the parts I needed and both asked why Honolulu didn't call them for the parts. Good question. We picked it up and drove it to Cutter Buick GMC. The had it repaired and ready to pick up at 9:30 the NEXT MORNING. They said the power steering column has some moisture and should have repairs but that it's not eminent like Honolulu said and they found several other mistakes in the report we were given. They did their own diagnostic and will be given any further business. Honolulu Buick GMC is not a good place to do business with. More
