Purchased a Lyriq June 2023 via internet/texting as I was on mainland. Negotiation was fair and swift with minimal messing around. Where it really went well was during and after purchase. They really went over the top in overnight fed ex of documents and handling the entire shipping process back to the mainland. Being an EV they had to prep the car for shipping in special ways. They were swift and very responsive at this ensuring I could get the car as fast as possible. My salesperson Sean H. Was a rock star throat handled this at all hours of the day and night over many days. He ultimately delivered the vehicle to the shipper personally. I have nothing but good things to say for all persons involved with the process. The paperwork was well organized and accurate and included return overnight shipping prepaid. It is difficult to know what to believe when dealing with Honolulu Cadillac GMC. I was sold a car with an expired safety inspection. Also, when I added the car to the car App, it showed that the car wa Honolulu Cadillac GMC. I was sold a car with an expired safety inspection. Also, when I added the car to the car App, it showed that the car was due several services. After much back and forth, I was asked to bring the car in for service. The service notices were all reset, but I don’t really know if the services were actually performed. For example, one of the services cleared was a safety inspection. But I know it was not performed. I was initially told that it couldn’t be performed until the car was transferred into my name. Then a few weeks later, I was called to schedule a safety inspection appointment because Honolulu Cadillac GMC could not transfer the car without it. I was told the service would only take about 30 minutes. It took 90 minutes. I believe this was because they scheduled the service, but had no one available to do it. Very frustrating. Since COVID, I have had considerable difficulty getting service appointments. This was a key reason that led me to trade in my Cadillac after it developed a transmission problem. My inability to get an appointment led to my problem being out of warranty. And I wasn’t sure if the transmission repair would be well. So, no I wouldn’t recommend Honolulu Cadillac GMC. More
