On tuesday while going to the doctor the light for low pressure on tire came on. This was the second time it did that. I called Ben and told him what was happening he told me to bring the car in right a way. We picked up the car on 5/10/2012. Art is one of my favorite salespeople to buy vehicles from and I typically buy 2-4 vehicles per year. He's polite and "tells it as it is" without the usual car dealer rhetoric. The delivery of the vehicle at the dealership was also very smooth and very quick. He realizes that the time of his customers is valuable and made noticeable effort to allow us the opportunity to work together at a speed comfortable to us and he clearly demonstrated he does care about his customers. His pricing was great and he did go the extra mile on our latest deal to make the purchase move through a lot smoother. More
I went to this dealership with no intention of purchasing a vehicle on this visit BUT the salesperson made it impossible NOT to purchase one: 1. His knowledge of his product was superb. He stayed with me through the entire process ensuring I received the best customer service possible. This dealership truly understands the needs of the average military customer and was tentative to my needs. I came in with a set price in mind and they worked every possible angle to find a vehicle that fit that need. There was no pressure and each person involved was courteous and friendly. My husband and I brought our vehicle in to schedule an appointment for service. While we were there we noticed a new 2010 Lincoln MKT for sale. Nick Westervelt was so kind to help us and show us the veh appointment for service. While we were there we noticed a new 2010 Lincoln MKT for sale. Nick Westervelt was so kind to help us and show us the vehicle and let us test drive it. It was love at first drive. Nick helped us work out a price and trade amount that was excellent and worked for us. He was very helpful without being pushy or making any of the deal uncomfortable. He was very friendly as was everyone we encountered there. We also got to meet and talk to Mark Benson while waiting to get into the finance office. What a great guy. We really enjoyed meeting him. We believe Mark will turn Honolulu Ford into one of the best in Hawaii. We also had a very good experence in the finance office. Lee Gerken was the Finance Manager that helped us. Although we obtained our own financing, he was very helpful and made us feel very comfortable and didn't try to pressure us to finance with him. We highly recomend Honolulu Ford to anyone needing to purchase a vehicle or needing service. Our experence with the service department has always been excellent as well. More
The dealership where I bought my 2010 Fusion Hybrid (not Honolulu Ford) ceased Saturday service hours AFTER I bought it, so when my driver's inside door handle broke on a Friday night, I was concerned. Honolulu Ford's service dept. was closed that night, but Ariana Braine advised me to call the service dept. first thing Saturday morning, which I did. The operator wasn't sure they could fit me in amidst the customers with existing Saturday morning appointments, but allowed that I could come in as soon as possible and talk to a service advisor. John Sollenbarger was extremely helpful and friendly, agreeing to schedule me in. He even knew how to pronounce my last name correctly, for which he gets bonus kudos. He also took a photo of some constantly shifting door trim, to forward to Ford so that we could schedule another visit to fix it (I am presently waiting to hear back on that). But my door was fixed promptly and courteously under warranty, for which I am very grateful. Mark Benson saw me waiting for my car and was also very friendly to chat with, and we discussed the importance of dealerships returning customer calls during the sales process. I also met John in Sales. Mark and John were very intent on improving the customer experience - Mark asked me to review Honolulu Ford on this website. I was extremely satisfied with this visit. More
