HoneyCar - Tampa

I called to inquire about a 2018 Audi A6 yesterday, I spoke with Dante around 1:00 P.M. and asked if he could get me a sales final sales number for the car out the door. At 4:00 I reached out to Dante via text to find out if they had numbers for me so that I could drive to Tampa to check out the vehicle and essentially buy it. Dante calls me back at 5:30 and tells me that they are loading the car onto a truck to send to Virginia...!?!?!? I ask why I wasn't notified and what I could do to check out the car or have it held at the Tampa location. Dante's manager returned with him on the phone and demanded a non refundable down payment of $2000 dollars just to see the car. Not only was the service poor but it also seemed like a scam. I can now see the car that was advertised at $21,999 in Tampa, FL with vin:WAUG3AFC2JN055449, is now being advertised for $24,999 in Charlottesville, VA. Seems like Honeycar values money making over customer service, clarity, integrity, and honesty. I can say for fact that I will never shop at Honeycar again. More

The dealer saw my car online that it was for sale by owner. A nice lady called me from HoneyCar and asked for pictures, a video and a full description of maintenance. I gave it to them. The nice lady called with an offer to buy my car for $8500 (my absolute lowest I would take!) I even made it clear NOT to waste my time if it was not $8500, She agreed and made an appointment to have my car inspected and would give me a check for $8500. I arrived and she greeted me restating she was going to get me a check for $8500. The car was taken to their service department for the inspection. Then the nice lady came out and said the offer had changed to $8000. I was furious and left! Bait and switch if I ever have seen it! More
