I would like too thank the staff at Honda of the Avenues Service Department especially Bill Rogers. This review is specific to the Service Department, as I have had nothing but a good experience with the Sales Department. I called to make an appointment to have a part replaced and brought the car in righ have had nothing but a good experience with the Sales Department. I called to make an appointment to have a part replaced and brought the car in right on time. Without even looking at my car, the assistant service manager Bill Rogers told me to bring it back tomorrow? Excuse me? Why did I make an appointment only to have you tell me to bring it back? When I questioned why I wasn't told on the phone that they wouldn't be able to repair it same-day, he replied extremely condescendingly that "well that's just something most people assume." Well sorry, Bill, but I'm not a mechanic, and I wasn't aware of how long it takes to replace a wheel bearing. Called the service dept. manager Brian West and was met with weak apologies and no real action. Both times I've been in, I've been met with deception on wait times and snotty attitudes. I will never bring my car back here again for service. More
The staff is always welcoming and friendly. They take the time to review the repairs and offer suggestions and advice for needed repairs. This is my second Honda from Honda of the Avenues. Chief helped me with my first Honda, he assisted in setting up my credit (I just turned 19 and did not have alot established yet). The finance manager knew that I had to stay withing my budget and he was very helpful. A year goes buy (without any problems) then I sent two of my friends in to buy new or slightly used cars from him. They all had a great experience and I got a big referral fee from Chief. That prompted me to look into another car for myself. I got a few extra dollars for my trade in, I qualified for the special finance rate and was able to get more car than I anticipated on. All in all, my whole family has since bought from Chief and we all love the service we get from the whole staff there. More
We just moved to Jacksonville and actually found this dealer through a co worker who referred us to buy a car from a particular salesperson. Our dealer in Virginia was much cleaner than this location. We noticed paperwork and garbage everywhere, and the bathrooms were messy. We Dealt with Marcus Meyer as he had sold my co-worker Elane a vehicle two months prior and I must say the experience was much like she described hers. Mr. Meyer professionalism and forward honesty convinced us not to shop around the other dealers. The office manager was a bit pushy but we always expect that. We love our new Honda! More
We took our civic hybrid in for a service and were thinking of geting a new car. We just loved the milage we were getting with the civic but were not thrilled with the comfort on a long journey. They had just the right one in stock, and they gave us a good deal on the price and the trade-in. Of course the price of gas jumped sky high the next day. But thats life. Came in to trade my Honda Lease, was given the run around about how much my payments would be and how much money would need to be put down. He wanted me to buy a car I was less tha thrilled about and make pa about how much my payments would be and how much money would need to be put down. He wanted me to buy a car I was less tha thrilled about and make payments on that car for 6 years. He was pushy and quite rude at times. He stood up and very loudly stated that "your credit score is *** and you are upside down in your car by $****, so you might as well get this one and get yourself out of the lease you are in." I was very embarrassed by my personal information to be spoken loudly in front of other customers. Will not ever go back there again. More
We came in for an oil change and service on our Odyssey and had an hour to kill. So, we were looking around at new cars, not sure we were in the market this year or not to replace my husband's van. Didn't like the new styling on the Odyssey, the CRVs are kinda small, so Frank soon showed us the benefits of the Pilot. Liked the styling, the spaciousness, and especially the ability to pull a boat and trailer. Lots of nice features also. So he won us over. Nice guy. Good price. Another factor - we appreciate the good work and friendliness of the service dept. More
Maybe a recommendation. Son took his CRV to The Avenues and they recommended ball joints and a $96.00 diagnostic for an "Oil leak." No shimmy, no shake, drive is no different so the ball joints were a joke. Asked where the oil was coming form rep responded "The quick lube tech is not certified to make that determination." But he can make the determination there is a leak. Declined all service except oil change and no drips encountered on cardboard after one week. Feel like they were soaking me/son. More

Before I made the purchase I checked with another local dealer and they wanted to charge $1500 more for mud guards and some kind of visor. I went back to the Avenues store and spoke with the sales manager Anthony Cacioppo and wound up getting the car for the original price with the accessories! Thanks guys! Happy new owner of Honda Accord Coupe EXL! More
