At Honda of Stamford, we respect and care about our customers. This particular customer came to us to trade in an older vehicle and purchase a new one. To address his first claim, at the time of purchase, we have every customer sign a document that is extensively gone over with them for every item and accessory being purchased. If there is an unwanted item at that time, it is removed from the transaction immediately. The customer did not bring this unwanted accessory to our attention during that time and is welcome to return it for a full refund. As to address the claim of reselling his trade-in vehicle at a higher price than we purchased from him. At the time of trade-in, the customer was given a fair value on his trade. Like all dealerships with all acquired vehicles, we then put the car through a service check and testing. It was determined at that time, that the vehicle could be repaired as needed to sell. The repairs were made, and the vehicle was listed as a used car to be resold. The repairs on used vehicles can be quite costly. We put thousands of dollars into them to get them up to standard. The price it was being sold for reflected that work. The customer saw it on the website listed at the sale price after the repairs were made and became upset. As a retail dealer, we reserve the right to repair and re-sale all vehicles purchased by us through trade-in. Honda of Stamford is a reputable dealer that has been in business for over 30 years. We have never and will never believe in or practice unfair business practices. We care deeply for all our customers and will continue to do so. We ask if this customer has any other concerns, please contact us at your earliest convenience so that we can set up a time for you to come in and discuss this matter further to hopefully resolve the issue. Typical sanitary response explaining how the customer is the liar and you are innocent. You lie profusely. There was nothing wrong with my trade in mechanically and it only had 55000 miles on it. The only thing that was changed was the stock stereo and no wires were touched at all because it was a crutchfield stereo that was plugged directly into the factory wiring harness and worked perfectly. This change did not cost thousands. You also agreed to $32500 out the door and lied about that too. None of what you claim here is truth. Not a single word is truth. You are unscrupulous liars and business men and anyone that does not believe me can ask and I will provide the proof in the form of recorded conversations. Now you and your crooked dealership are dismissed.
