After owning my 2023 Honda Pilot for almost a year now, it was time for my complementary servicing. It was determined by Michael the service rep that I was due for an Oil Change and tire rotation. I was told to have a seat in the amazing waiting room. While waiting I helped myself to a delicious Cappuccino available from the coffee machine that is available free to customers. The waiting room was lovey and clean. After the expected time frame my car was ready!! I was extremely impressed with Honda of Stamford's service department and look forward to my next visit!! More
I bought a car there yesterday and I can honestly say that it was the best car buying experience I've ever had. I was politely greeted by a smiling Chris Lopez. Chris brought it up so that I could test drive it. He was funny and personable during my test drive and very solicitous of my mobility issues. I had been looking for a Toyota Matrix to replace my aging one and this 2009 model was in great shape and a price I could afford to pay cash for. He got $250 off the price for me and then we waited. And waited... My insurance company took over an hour to confirm my insurance. Apparently they were very busy at State Farm. Chris brought me water, repeatedly offered snacks and asked if there was anything he could do to make my wait easier. It wasn't busy, so he spent a lot of time just chatting and keeping me company. When we finally heard back from my agent, the rest of the process went like it was greased. I didn't have enough in my checking account to cover the cost as my transfer from savings hadn't gone through yet. So, I wrote a check and told them I would pick it up next week after the check cleared if that was okay with them. It was not a problem. When I mentioned that I needed a day when my sister felt good enough to drive down with me to pick it up (I'm giving her my old Matrix) the Manager volunteered to deliver it to me in New Haven. That's a 1+ hour drive both ways! So I will see Chris again next week, which will be a delight. I've bought many cars but never had service like this. 10/10!!!!! More

Honda cars have factory installed long-life coolant that should be replaced according to maintenance sub code 5, or at 10 years(wchichever comes first)..They try to sell you that service very early( around should be replaced according to maintenance sub code 5, or at 10 years(wchichever comes first)..They try to sell you that service very early( around 5 years) or even if there is no code 5 on your service minder. Nice extra $200,00 plus tax in their pocket. This is only one example on the very long list. My point is: educate yourself, read HONDA instructions , (NOT Honda dealership) etc. If you buy Certified Honda Car ask for 182 point inspection report on the paper ( how many of you know that something like this exists?) and hire independent mechanic ( it is worth it , believe me) to check especially brakes and tires. They are in the business to make money, not to be your friend... Otherwise service quality there is good( although recently they don't top off windshield fluid anymore during the regular service) and I still recommend them. Nobody is perfect. More

Yesterday I purchased my first Honda and it was a wonderful experience. Anna Porrini took care of me and was so pleasant and informative and helped me make the right decision.
