Everyone I encountered at Honda of Slidell treated me as family, not like they were trying to get me to buy something and get out the door. I visited multiple times and was never pressured to purchase anyt family, not like they were trying to get me to buy something and get out the door. I visited multiple times and was never pressured to purchase anything; they simply answered my questions and compared the models I was trying to choose between. In the end, I purchased a CRV and was pleased that they were able to find exactly what I wanted even though it wasn't on the lot. I have been pleased with the ease of scheduling service and the free oil changes as part of the free service package they include in the purchase of a new vehicle. I am a loyal customer for life! More
I had some paint issues with my 2010 Odyssey. Eric took the initiative and had an independent body shop take pictures and access the problem. He than took the finding to Honda. Honda agreed to all repairs to the Odyssey's paint. I'm sure Eric had a lot to do with this. Service after the sale of a vehicle is just as important, to me, as the sale itself. Honda of Slidell is a great dealership to do business with. From Paul my salesman, who still calls me by my name, 3 1/2 years after he sold me my Odyssey. To Eric and Charity in service, who truly try to accommodate you. My hats off to all of you. More
My father had been toying with the idea of purchasing a new vehicle for a while so my husband stopped by a local dealership in Covington close to my home so he can personally see the vehicles he had shown new vehicle for a while so my husband stopped by a local dealership in Covington close to my home so he can personally see the vehicles he had shown an interest in. The salesman came out to talk to him where conversation ensued and ultimately my husband encouraged my dad into test driving the vehicle. Upon return to the dealership, the salesman excused himself and came back with another salesman. The appearance came across to my Dad and Husband as being tag teamed. The salesmen were informed that my Dad's intentions were to put half down on the vehicle and possibly finance the remaining either through Honda or his credit union and they were asked to give my Dad an idea of what the vehicle would actually cost so he could determine if he was able to pay the note as he is retired and on a fixed income. While he does have some savings, he did not want to deplete all of it in case of emergencies. Since my Dad had not purchased a new vehicle since 1975, you can imagine his sticker shock. He is a retired mechanic by trade, not extravagant and analysizes everything. Both salesman continued to avoid his question and instead tried to sell him a less expensive vehicle and the second salesman finally told my Dad and Husband that "He had Champagne taste on a Beer Budget." At that point, my Husband felt insulted and informed the salesman that it was time for them to leave. When they returned home and told me of the experience, I immediately got online, shot off an email to the Managing Partner of the Honda dealership they visited and started looking for another as at that point, I knew my dad was ready to start the process since he actually test drove the vehicle. I came across Honda of Slidell and was immediately able to chat online with a representative, Dominic. While I did not tell him the extent of the previous experience, I did share a little about my Dad. He assured me they were a dealership that was transparent. We scheduled an appointment that I had to cancel and immediately, Regina Pace started keeping in touch with me. She was extremely friendly and pleasant to talk with and answered questions I had very timely and courteously. When we were ready to reschedule the appointment, she informed me another member of their team would actually meet with us. I explained the type of person my Dad is and how it would be better to not set up the appointment with someone who would be overly agressive and pushy. She set up the appointment with Brian Puntila and met us on the day of the appointment to introduce Brian to us. I believe Brian was a great match up to work with my Dad and appreciated Regina listening and paying attention to my concerns. Brian was informative, accomodating and gracious as we visited during their Christmas celebration. It was such a wonderful experience seeing how the Management and Owner appreciated the employees and their families. Brian negotiated the deal in a professional and comfortable manner. He made the negotiating process less stressful. Once the deal was done and the vehicle arrived at the dealership, Alberto handled the final aspect of financing. He has such a great way of going through the paperwork and interacting with clients as well. He took the dreaded sign your life away part of the process away and replaced it with a much more relaxing experience. Dominic told me from the beginning that their dealership was transparent - made me believe they would work with us and not play games. They did everything they said they would and did it in a friendly, courteous and professional manner. I would definately recommend Honda of Slidell and their team. More
I had a wonderful experience with Honda of Slidell! I live in Texas and was in town visiting my family for the holidays. The purchase of a new van was not expected, but my car broke down and instead of live in Texas and was in town visiting my family for the holidays. The purchase of a new van was not expected, but my car broke down and instead of paying to have it fixed (it had 200,000 miles on it and was almost payed off) I ended up trading it in. My car was actually put in Honda's shop to be diagnosed, while it was being diagnosed I took a walk around their lot. My husband had already returned home to Texas and as a woman looking at cars alone I was very concerned. I absolutely hate car dealerships because I hate feeling hassled or pressured in anyway. Honda of Slidell did not pressure me in any way or make me feel that I was being taken advantage of. Everyone that I worked with was extremely personable and honest. They answered all my questions, worked with me on my trade and found me the exact car that I wanted. They even spoke to my husband on the phone and answered all of his questions. Jason Rivers, my salesperson was amazing! He really knows how to make you feel at home ... almost like a member of your family is telling you all about their new car! He makes you laugh and is very down to Earth. He was upfront with me and made me feel like he would get me whatever I wanted! The General Manager, Nick Richard was helpful and jumped through hoops to make sure that my financing went smoothly and that I got the most for my trade. Nick even located the van that I wanted in Mississippi and made sure that they got it to their lot in a timely manner, so that I could get back to Texas as soon as possible. Everyone went out of their way and made me feel like I was their only customer! I can not thank the Honda Team enough! A special thanks to Jason and Nick! More

Breno spent the time with us to find out both our wants and needs for the new vehicle we were looking to purchase. We had our minds set on purchasing a Pilot and he made sure we really understood everything about the vehicle. Once we decided on a specific vehicle it moved quickly from there. Even the negotiations and financing were a breeze! The dealership even kept someone a little late to have the accessories added to our new Pilot before leaving. They went above and beyond what you would normally expect during a car buying experience. Even after purchasing our vehicle the excellent service has continued! We will definitely be back when it s time to purchase another vehicle for our family! More
