Brought My Vehicle in For oil change I had brought my vehicle in for service and Ron was very friendly and had the service done good but the only disappointment was that the service techn I had brought my vehicle in for service and Ron was very friendly and had the service done good but the only disappointment was that the service technician that worked on my vehicle, while doing the job, accidently cracked my front bumper. I spoked to the receptionist she said that I needed to talk to Ron and that he was gone for the day. I left him a voicemail and he returned my call the following day. He told me to bring the vehicle so that he can take a look at it. First thing he said was that it didn’t happen there. By him saying that I knew they were not gonna take responsibility the damages. I inspected my car before leaving it there. He said that the cameras will be checked and that I will be contacted. A week pass by and no call from Ron. I was able to reach him and he said that he had left me voicemail already lying he never left no voicemail. He states that the cameras were checked and that my vehicle did not leave their with the cracked bumper. I stated to him that it happened while being service. I told him that I was going to file a police report and he said to do what I wanted to do and hung up on me. That was the second bad experience that I had with them. I didn’t complain to the service manager because they are related and I knew that nothing would be done. They lost a long time customer! More
Tragic Issue Resolved Immediately My brand new Honda Fit started making a horrifying sound coming from the suspension with less than 200miles on the car. I called my salesperson who directed me to service and assured me that I would be seen immediately. I drove up to the service center, and 2 hours later the issue was resolved with a thorough explanation of the what went wrong. Mark was professional and apologetic. When it recurred... they quickly got in touch with Honda to learn that this was a part that was being recalled and made the appropriate fix and ordered new parts for me. This is a royal inconvenience but somehow this service center managed to waste as little of my time as possible and instilled confidence in me that they are reliable and will make sure to definitively resolve any problems with my car on my schedule. More
Nightmare experience! Back 4 times for same problem- no regard for personal time... could have done a ore thorough investigation so I wouldn't need to return so many times. SO DISGUSTED Car was purchased by a family member and was passed down to me. Has been serviced there from the beginning, but I have had 3 different personal encoun Car was purchased by a family member and was passed down to me. Has been serviced there from the beginning, but I have had 3 different personal encounters at Mahwah Honda... Brought in for some maintenance ... spark plug, valve, tires, a few other things .... ended up finding a broken axle. Voiced concerns about engine losing power... concerns brushed off. Told me it runs fine and the hesitation was "probably the axle" ...which makes absolutely no sense. Brought it back...still vibration, still hesitating. Was told one of the new tires was bad so was replaced and re-balanced. Told runs fine... maybe try putting in premium gas to make it run better. Car still choppy ... car still slight engine shake... brought to another shop to replace shaking brakes ( was never told they were bad by Honda and they started shaking on a road trip). Asked this shop for second opinion on car hesitation and engine shake. Was told air filter was really dirty..... wondering why this was never brought up or investigated during my oil change or spark plug replacement at Honda or any of the multiple times I told them the car had performance issues. CAR HAS NOT RUN FINE ANY OF THE TIMES THEY TOLD ME IT RAN FINE. Car has EXTENDED WARRANTY for engine performance issue and when a customer voices concerns about engine, should not be taken lightly. Felt representative was condescending and made me to feel like my concerns were not valid...like the problem was all in my head. I WILL NOT BE BACK. Bad enough they have missed what I feel are SIMPLE FIXES and not told me about other things that may need to be done to save labor costs..... but then add the condescending attitude .... NOTHING GOOD TO SAY ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE WHATSOEVER. More

With appointment I waited 2 hours until they took my car . In one h Ben told me, that can not find where exactly the problem is . In 2 more hours I received the key , but the work was not done-they have to order the part... Two spots were on the seat cover . Next day I saw the 4 continental tires was not my- Michelins was my tires. The battery & drive belt were very old . I changed them in another Honda dealership. I have to by new tires because of you, but I do not work . More
TRUST ISSUES Too may times having to return for items to be fixed that were ignored by the techs. Battery checked by tech (report), say battery fine. Stuck on the road two times with dead battery, two-three days after service. When asked, I was assured the battery checked fine under load test. Was the water level checked? YES was the reply. The battery was as dry as a desert. Check engine light on another car: Replace Tires (4) & Battery. Two days later Check engine light= Replace catalitic converter. Afraid to loose the sale of Battery & Tires?. By the way, the owner is a female. I question many of the VERY EXPENSIVE repairs. Trust Factor = -10. Solution offered= a 10% discount. All the add on's for the service, the 10% faded into history and a 30% recouped in extras. No big deal $ 1.00 added to top off an already full washer tank. Serious trust issue's with this dealership. I suppose someone has to pay for the new renovations. NOT ME ANY MORE!!!!!! More
