If I know it's already been taken care of, such as when I do the work myself, I just let the service advisor know and we move on. My experience has been that Mahwah Honda's service department will discuss what service should be done based on the manufacturer's recommended/scheduled maintenance, not unnecessary work, excessively frequent oil changes, etc., that some car dealerships will scare customers into purchasing. Honda's maintenance Minder works well, although it is important to bring your car in at least once a year. I also appreciate the multi-point inspection and the review when I pick up my car. This lets me know if there is something I need to keep my eye on. I have found that when Mahwah Honda's service department recommends a repair or maintenance item, it needs to be done. More
