Unbelievable experience! While negotiating with salesman and managers for a new 2022 car already on site I was told it was already sold. Therefore negotiating for another new car they had but I had to give said dealer full amount with a personal check! I decided to buy it when salesman returned from manager station informing me it was sold!!! Why did they tried to sell me the car while they was negotiating with another customer is beyond me! I walked out claiming that they played a “dirty” trick! Never go there with dishonest people! More
We used Mahwah Honda for my trade from a CRV to Pilot. The process was lengthy but it eventually worked out. We had to visit a few times to get everything organized. I live in Jersey City, NJ and chose Mahwah to lease my third Honda because of the great customer service from salesman Joe Donegan. I’ve always had a great experience from him as well as the service depar third Honda because of the great customer service from salesman Joe Donegan. I’ve always had a great experience from him as well as the service department through the years. Since my lease on my 2019 Honda Pilot Touring was ending in August I thought it would be great to lease another vehicle with them. Unfortunately I was wrong. The new vehicle I leased was a 2022 Honda Civic Touring. Everything went well until the gentleman from the finance department spoke to me regarding my new monthly payment. My credit is not that great but since I’ve leased all my vehicles I never had issues making payments. I always paid before the due date. The gentleman continued to explain what my monthly payments would be and I was just so excited to get a new vehicle I agreed and sign all the documents needed. I later on realized that I’m now paying $10.00 less then what I was paying for my Honda Pilot that had a sticker price of about $45,000.00. I was making payments of $559.00 and not once was late on a payment. Now the new Honda Civic I’m leasing had a sticker price of about $31,000.00 and my monthly payment are $549.00. What I don’t understand is why a vehicle $14,000.00 less I’m only paying $10.00 less. As the gentleman from the finance department mention that my rating with Honda was good. My question is why my monthly payments are still so high. This experience has left me feeling like a victim since my credit wasn’t good enough. Being loyal to Mahwah Honda throughout the years meant nothing. I know now that I have to cut my relationship with Mahwah Honda. Thank you Joe Donegan and the service department for the outstanding customer service through the years. More
The service department is a disgrace. I made an appointment and arrived there promptly as agreed. For what? The appointment was ignored and I had to explain the problem all over again. OK I made an appointment and arrived there promptly as agreed. For what? The appointment was ignored and I had to explain the problem all over again. OK, not too bad. Now, the guy at the reception only takes notes; useless to try to discuss the problem with him. Then they send you to the waiting room. Two hours later, nothing happened -- yes two hours later, my time is meaningless to Mahwah Honda. So I complained; what does the same guy say? He mumbles some excuse and tells me that there are many warning/diagnostic lights and I have to bring it back when the light is on. Well I told him off the bat that the light goes on intermittently, how am I supposed to know when it will happen? Waste of time. More

Dennis helped me find a great car for my daughter and was straightforward all the way. Despite the crazy market he did his best to make the deal work for us. A true gentleman! straightforward all the way. Despite the crazy market he did his best to make the deal work for us. A true gentleman! More
I went to acquire about a 2006 Honda Crv After test driving vehicle went back to the desk with the salesman discuss the price of the vehicle And then after the fact of them attaching almost $2,500 in f driving vehicle went back to the desk with the salesman discuss the price of the vehicle And then after the fact of them attaching almost $2,500 in fees one with the dealer fee of $499, Window etching for $299( which is unnecessary for a 2006 model, and takes 2 mins of a technicians time and the sticker can cost all that much. And the 3rd fee was $895 for Safety Inspection which should be dealerships responsibility and not be a cost to customer. So end of day a car or vehicle that should cost $7500.00 plus taxes turns into a $10000.00 purchase. That is horrendous and complete highway robbery. More
