We went to buy a certified pre owned Honda Ridgeline from this dealership. I found the car via the Carfax app and it said that the price they were asking was good. We drove the truck, it was fine, and went in to discuss the price, it was then that we discovered the advertised price was not the real price and that a $550 refurbishment fee as well as a $2300 CPO fee were also part of the deal. When I told them that I had priced the truck out on their own website and neither of these fees showed up in the final price which included the $700 documentation fee as well as the $160 motor vehicle fees along with the state tax. We were then informed that this is the way that they and all dealers are doing business now which I don't believe. I had contacted a Ford dealer in Warwick NY and asked if they did this and the sales manager said that no, "we don't play those games". My brother had bought his Ridgeline from and dealer in Virginia Beach where he lives and he said that they didn't pull this on him. I have purchased two new Honda vehicles in the past, but I would be hard pressed to darken the door of another Honda dealer again. More

I went to 4 dealers while searching for an Accord and this one was hands-down the worst. They asked me to make an appointment and still kept me waiting for 40 minutes even though I got there right on ti this one was hands-down the worst. They asked me to make an appointment and still kept me waiting for 40 minutes even though I got there right on time. Worse, they added a $1900 hidden certification fee to their internet price for a certified used Accord which I couldn't find out about until I got there. When all their charges added up, the total price they were asking for a 2020 certified used Accord ended up being only like $800 less than a new 2023 Accord I ended up buying elsewhere. I was so irritated that I called Honda Corporate to ask why dealers are allowed to have hidden certification charges, and Honda Corporate said dealers are totally not allowed to do this according to the terms of their contract with dealers. I guess Honda of Mahwah doesn't care. Anyway, if you want to save time and money and not get duped, don't go here. More

The next day we called and asked about the vehicle. We were assured it was there on the lot and available for purchase. They said we could drive it home that day. We made an appointment for 1 hour later and jumped in the car for the one hour drive. On arrival, no salesman. We get assigned someone and say what car we came for. Look on his face told me there was a problem and he was gone for a long time. Then the bad news "that car was just sold" but the good news, the manager could get us a car in 2 weeks. But when the papers are presented it was $5000 over with every fee padded. Thanks but no thanks. We will never do business with them. More

STAY AWAY! !!!!! LIARS!! DECEPTIVE! Communicated with 3 different people at Mahwah Honda to verify that a 2023 Honda Civic was in stock and ready to sell. All 3, !!!!! LIARS!! DECEPTIVE! Called one more time just before I leave my house to make sure car is available (I live 1 1/2 hours away), and again YES, come on down! Get to dealership and find out the car was sold weeks ago! Without much concern or remorse, they call other dealers to find me the car.. They succeed after waiting 2 hours.. Then, the owner (Justin Moussa) comes out of his hiding spot behind the glass wall and with twisted attitude says "I found you cart, lets do paperwork".. They show me the paperwork, and they have the b_alls to add a $4,500 up charge on the car. Needless to say, I gave them a piece of my mind and walked out.. You can tell the owner (Justin) is a total scam artist.. I have bought over 15 cars at dealers over my lifetime and I always come prepared and am fair with no xx when I buy a car.. 90% of my experiences have been great.. Honda Mahwah was a complete disaster and I would never do business with such a shady and deceptive place such as this.. Shame on you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More
