Pressured to purchase vehicle when convenient for dealers I had made an appointment with the car salesperson after attending a seminar. The sales person still interrupted the seminar I was attending by calling me to make sure I was coming in. I knew the sales person work schedule and respected his time so that he would receive the commission, but felt forced into completing the sale on the day of the appointment. No one seemed to respect my time--several times I had to sit and wait while the salesperson went off somewhere. But, I was not given time to digest all the details relating to the car purchase including time to review the financial decisions; and by the time I completed the sale I felt I had no say in anything. I do not purchase cars often--this was a big deal for me and I left feeling that I had made a mistake. Even when I dropped off the car title on my trade-in vehicle I received poor customer service at the front desk as if she were too busy. She just told me to go to the "second office from the end." On the second day of our trip, getting ready to stop for the night pulling off I 80 and at the first stop our car stalled. Luckily we were able to get it started again and I asked my son to look up the local Honda dealer. We called and spoke to Bob Vargar. He told us to come in the next day and he would help us as best as he could. Luckily we were able to make it to the hotel and get to the dealership at 7 o'clock in the morning. They took us right in. They had the car up on the lift. The service advisor, Jim Hudson, and the mechanic (sorry I don't know his name), told us that the air compressor had seized and tore our A/C alternator belt. They discovered a way to circumvent the air compressor and get us on the road quicker than I ever could have imagined. My son and I made it to Denver that evening with the help of all the kind people in Lincoln Honda. Everybody was helpful and caring. More

What more could you ask for? Scott called our mom about a van. She lives 2 hours away, so I went to check it out. Scott met us (me and my 2 boys) at the door with cold water and had the van ready for us to see. (No waiting in the hot sun.) After checking it out, we head inside, to be greeted at the door by a nice gentleman. When we sat down with Scott, he brought us some more water and no hassles, ABOUT ANYTHING! He told us the asking price, but then said there are some things that they would replace/fix before it left the lot, he would touch up a couple of spots with paint, and have a full tank of gas. I knew the price was set in stone then. But it wasn't, the price was lower, the belts replaced, the paint touched up, the gas tank full, AND when they were under the hood, they fix a few more things they found-no extra charge. We met Chad to finalize the paperwork. We got the same professional service. #1 - I have never had a dealer/salesperson do this, EVER! #2 - Someone else was looking out for my mom, other than me. What more could you ask for? What a great feeling to have such respect and courtesy! We can't wait to go back for the same wonderful service when my family needs a different vehicle. best vehicle buying experience I went to the dealership on the 27th and three days later closed a deal and walked out with the car I had been looking for for over four years. It had all the equipment I wanted and at a great price. I cannot say enough about the sales consultant, finance person or sales manager. They were all great to work with. Chad in finance great also. I've had pretty much horrible experiences in the past across many makes of cars. My experience with Honda of Lincoln completely impressed me. I made a number of unique requests and they never even blinked, just did their best to fulfill my requests. I like to work on my own cars so I planned to buy all the accessories I wanted and install them myself. To this end, I had a few questions I wanted to ask the service personnel and they embraced my request for information even putting a similar car on a lift so we could examine it together and gain some understanding toward the answers to my questions. Not many dealership service departments will even explain things to you let alone let you enter the service area and have lengthy detail conversations about how things work. The parts department was kind enough to print out the installation instructions for the accessories I purchased and again, not many service departments would do this. Justin in finance pushed the extended warranty a touch too much. I politely said no, that should have been the end of the conversation on that topic. But even at that, he wasn't heavy handed or overly pushy about it. More
