My experience with Honda of Keene was a good one. My Subaru engine went in my WRX. So I chose to work with Honda of Keene on a used Toyota Tacoma. The sales person I worked with named Craig. He was very nice and went out of his way to help me work out a deal over the phone due to my very busy schedule. The sale was clean and quick. I didn't feel pressured the entire time I was there. After going over the paperwork and signing for the truck with a couple of other very friendly staff members,I left for the day to drive my great new truck. The next morning I had found a couple of minor issues with my truck that were overlooked. I found it was missing the Toyota floor mats, the truck jack, and tie downs for the bed. I called Honda and worked with Jason. He was very friendly and told me that he would take care of all my concerns. They were able to get me a jack, floor mats, and the tie downs for the bed. I was glad to receive the items, the only down side was the length in time it took to get those items. That as far as I can see was the only issue I had with Honda of Keene and it was not a big issue, not even a issue really. They are all very good, friendly people and I would be happy to recommend them to anyone. More
I never had a positive car-buying experience until dealing with James at Honda of Keene. Fair, honest, low-key, no-pressure sales approach. Everyone who buys a used car is weary of mistreatment and pushy salesmen. Our Salesman was Tim Stone and he was great to work with: friendly, knowledgeable and truly willing to help. At no time did I feel pressured into anything and he gave us the time to decide to buy. Don (finance manager) was also very helpful and worked hard to get us the best rate on our loan and Janelle was very friendly when we finalized the deal. There was no part of the sale that felt intimidating and I felt that Honda really stood behind their sale and their vehicles. I gave a high marks in all categories because of the excellent service all around and hope that each person who reads this has the great experience that I did at Honda of Keene. More

Tim's patience through the entire process was a delight to receive, being atypical of the stereotype that car sales has been shadowed in for many years. Tim did not pressure us into anything we did not want. He was very inviting and accepting to our needs as a family and most importantly to our budgetary requirement for this vehicle. He was extremely accommodating to our time line and made a concerted effort to answer any questions we may have and attended to our needs and inquiries promptly. The entire process of looking at vehicles, test driving and such has taken upwards of 3 weeks, but in the end, we are completely satisfied. Tim also encouraged us to look at other vehicles in the Fenton Family Auto system to make sure we get what we want. I did visit the Subaru in Keene and well, did not have as nice of an experience. I did drive a car that was a little small for our family needs and when I requested via email another option or conversation regarding something that was comparable to the CR-V, no one returned my message, nor phoned me to discuss this. I also did not like the "sales" pitching style of trying to get me to get things like undercoating, not missing an oil change, and the notion that I needed to move on the car I was test driving as it "probably would not be there on the weekend". I am completely satisfied with my experience at Honda of Keene, not only with Tim, but all the staff on site who were very pleasant and accommodating as well. This is my second car I am financing through Honda Corporation and I can say without a doubt, because of Tim, you will have my business for life. I usualy do not post reviews but this dealer warrents it. I purchased a used 2007 Toyota Corolla from this Dealer for my Daughter who goes to Keene State College. Coming from out of state I gave a deposit to I purchased a used 2007 Toyota Corolla from this Dealer for my Daughter who goes to Keene State College. Coming from out of state I gave a deposit to hold it. They tell me the condition was fantastic. When I arrived there were scratches and dents all over this car, the interior was not touched from when it was traded in and looked a mess, the sunroof grinded the first time and every time I opened it, the belts squealed when I started the car. Obviously they did nothing to this car from when it was traded in. After much complaining of its condition and threatening my deposit money they had someone take some of the scatches and dents out. I still complained of its overall condition so they said to bring it back and they would detail it. After doing so they did nothing to the inside and the exterior looked like they buffed it with sandpaper it had all kinds of swirl marks all over it. I would not buy another car from this Dealer if they were the only one left. Buyer beware. More
This is just a summary, there are far more unpleasant details which would only make the story longer. I purchased a Toyota Corolla (2003) based upon the recommendation of the salesman and assurances f details which would only make the story longer. I purchased a Toyota Corolla (2003) based upon the recommendation of the salesman and assurances from service that it was in good working order, as well as the window sticker showing a falsified Kelly Blue Book Value of $6,450 indicating it was in excellent condition. They sold it to me for $3,500. During my test drive I saw that the engine trouble light was on. The Service Manager and Salesman said not to worry about it and that they would fix it. Most of the exhaust system had to be replaced and the light stayed on. After about two days they were able to get it to go off. They assured me the car had been fully serviced and oil & filter changed. Based on this, I drove my family to Staten Island for Thanksgiving. The last 100 yards or so were up a steep hill at which time the oil light went on and the engine started making noises. I immediately pulled over and found the oil was not even registering on the dip stick. On Friday morning I phoned the dealership and they said they had put in the wrong oil (20 weight)and that was probably the issue. They suggested adding 30 weight and coming back to have them check it out and change the oil to the proper one. Based upon the amount of oil it took to top the level up in Staten Island, the crankcase was virtually empty. It used about 5 more quarts on the return to Keene. Service changed the oil, charged me $40 for correcting their mistake and sent me on my way with assurances that everything was fine. The next day I drove to Albany and on the way back found the oil very low again and the engine light on. Back to Keene. They tested compression etc and pronounced the car fine once again. I drove home and when I checked the oil it was down again. They suggested I add transmission oil to the engine oil in order to clean the rings and to drive it several hundred mile in order to allow it time to work. I told them I had to drive to Annapolis MD and they said that would be a good chance to correct the problem. I burned about 5 quarts each way. The car will not pass inspection and is not road worthy. I then asked that the dealer either buy it back for what I paid, or properly repair it. They said that it would be better if I drove it for a while until they had a suitable replacement for me. In spite of many phone calls, that never happened. I then asked the repair or refund once again. Jason, the General Manager has refused to buy it back, and has stalled about repairs. No, I would not recommend this dealer in spite of the fact that their sister dealership was excellent in the past. I now have no choice but to seek legal remedies. More

The staff from the internet manager to the finance manager were all very friendly, helpful and professional. Sales consultant, James Geniewicz, is the nicest, most professional and customer service oriented young man I've had the pleasure of dealing with in a long time. I highly recommend James to anyone putting off buying a car because they don't want to haggle with sleazy, unenthusiastic or high-pressure sales people. James will make you feel completely at ease, make your car buying experience a pleasure, and give you a good deal to boot. My experience at Keene Honda was definitely worth the hour plus drive. More

The staff was very knowledgable and very accomodating to all my needs. I was able to get exactly what I wanted with out a hassle.or pressure to buy. I was able to drive a variety of models to ensure that the CRV was going to be a fit for me. It was a very enjoyable experience as often decisions are wanted on the spot and pressure of missing a deal is at risk. Jason Mclean made sure that if I wanted time to think that would be fine the offer would still be on the table. I went home thought about it and called back in the morning to seal the deal. Upon picking up the car all necessary paperwork was complete and ready to sign. They were very organized and had great follow through. There were no surprises. While not initially the lowest price amongst the dozen dealers I requested quotes from, they were among the lowest. George quickly matched the lowest price while including their offering of a lifetime powertrain warranty. When I actually purchased the vehicle from them, there were no surprise fees or high pressure tactics. Overall, this was a very positive experience and I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a good deal. More
