Honda of Keene has a very helpfull staff who knew their inventory well. They showed me the two vehicles that they thought met my needs, after test driving two cars, I ended up buing the first one they sho inventory well. Was lokng for a new Honda Civic with a trade of truck/plow. The dealership was very professional and friendly. The only con was the trade value was lower than rated and price of new Honda EX-L truck/plow. The dealership was very professional and friendly. We were considering buying a second car for our family of four, but weren't sure what to get or when. We have a 2005 trailblazer, bought new, and although we need it and the AWD for Vermont winter driving, four, but weren't sure what to get or when. We have a 2005 trailblazer, bought new, and although we need it and the AWD for Vermont winter driving, it is a gas guzzler and not practical for driving on long family trips or even around town. It serves us best in the winter. My husband spent some time researching online and decided the Honda Accord or Civic would be our best choice for mileage, safety, and longevity. He found a car he particularly liked from Honda of Keene online and he contacted the internet department. We were not completely committed to buying the car or any Honda for that matter, however this past week we decided to drive to the dealership to look at that car and other Honda options. When we pulled into the lot, and got out to peruse the cars, we happened to run into Robert Ekblom. We have dealt with other dealerships in our first car search and we kind of wanted to avoid sales-people until necessary. Gosh, we encountered some real jerks: Extremely pushy, rehearsed, dishonest, and rude. Robert first just asked if we needed any help, and didn't seem like he was going to be rude to us if we said we were just looking. We told him what we were thinking about, and even though it was the end of the day, the dealership was closing soon, Robert was very nice, got keys and showed us every car we wanted to look at and was able to answer any question. He did not try to push us in any direction, just give us the facts so we could make a well-informed decision. We have two young children and he was very patient and just really nice. We knew after meeting with him, "We want to buy a Honda, and we want to buy it from Robert." We ended up choosing the Accord my husband had looked at online, and it was a very smooth and pleasant transaction. I think there are car dealers who might be nice people, but have that creepy sort of rehearsed sales pitch, and they are just pushy. No matter what training tells them to do that, it just makes us want to get out of there! Robert was completely respectful to us and did not make us uncomfortable. In all professions you want to encounter kind people, and I think we were lucky to run into Robert. More
