I agreed on 8K over (this im fine with i know what im getting myself into) 2. First set of numbers appear with no options other than 72 month (most amount of ARP at 9.95%) (credit is avg, not terrible) first red flag. They are telling me that i would not get approved with a 48 or 60 months. Seemed kind of shady. went back and forth and agreed to a number. 3. Go into finance for them to low key tell me oh you warranty pamphlet is here. Went on to explain they added 4 optional extras on top of my monthly payment (extended warranty, 4 year service, wheel and tire , roadside, etc. I had no idea, the sales person did not disclose any options when we agreed on a price. Removed those and got out. This dealership is a sleezy scam. I will never do business again. Management was clearly the one driving all the scummy action. Feel bad for my honda review because i know it matters, however this is unacceptable. More
I would NEVER recommend this place my fiance dropped his car off on the 19th. We were promised on January 19th that we would get our car back fixed. Well....it's been a month and when my fiance when in to a car off on the 19th. We were promised on January 19th that we would get our car back fixed. Well....it's been a month and when my fiance when in to ask them why we haven't heard back from them, they said " sorry but just because it says in contract that we will have your car by January 19th doesn't mean we actually will have it fixed by then." xxx??? So he again have us another run around and said keep calling every Friday but it's going to be two more weeks maybe even more our car is STILL waiting to be fixed and these people are unprofessional. Go somewhere else to fix your car More

I return to the service department to try to get my car serviced and the workers tell me that they have to charge me 200$ for simply towing it in and then another 200$ for an inspection. My car is under warranty, and I mentioned this to them but they completely ignored that fact. I called Honda Cerritos and I was informed that I shouldn't be getting charged for anything since the car IS under warranty. I asked to speak to the service department manager and was told they are on vacation and then asked for the general manager of the store and they told me they had no idea when he would be in. Overall a very bad experience, and extremely unhelpful workers. (323)-667-7102 @DavidSloane More

When you book the appointment, they don’t mention the $200 diagnostic fee just to tell you what’s wrong. They only tell you about that fee once you're there and you just want your car fixed. I’ve never before had a mechanic charge me to give me a quote. I went ahead because a Carmax agent (I have an extended warranty through them) said for electrical issues, the dealer would know best. Lol. In the end, they didn’t find anything wrong but the battery, which they wanted to replace for over $250 (my battery from AAA is still under warranty, so I declined, but they wouldn’t give me my car back unless I paid the $200 diagnostic fee). When I asked what all they did to merit that $200 (besides wasting time making a laundry list of expensive maintenance items totaling $6,000 and trying to upsell them to me), the customer service agent, Willie, used a defensive tone (in some fairness to Willie, it was towards the end of the day, he was running around like a chicken with his head cut off helping 3 or 4 customers at once, and he might have been hangry since an untouched lunch sat on his desk, but still, his tone was unacceptable for a customer service professional). When I asked why I was being charged $200 just for a diagnostic, he replied with a smirk, “Because we’re a dealer; that’s what we do!” Great answer, Willie! I left feeling frustrated, screwed over and furious. So, all I can do is hope that this review discourages much more than $200 worth of business from coming to this shoddy establishment. Would give negative stars if possible! More
I find the people at this location to be very rude. There is a service drive manager who speaks to customers in a very rude manner. My experience purchasing a Honda at this dealership was exceptional. My first contact with Estaban was positive, we told him what we needed. He was informed. We showed him the lower price listed on li exceptional. My first contact with Estaban was positive, we told him what we needed. He was informed. We showed him the lower price listed on line and he directed us to the manager Bilal. He said he would match the price. He went on to give us discounts on the service and support contract. He helped us set up insurance at a cheaper arte, helped us get our rental picked up and gave us the same intereest as one we had established with USAA....I cannot think of one negative issue....TOTAL happiness and support. I was sold a 2018 Honda Fit by the sales rep, Bilal. He was your typical sleezy sales person but the car seemed in decent shape. Asking price was almost 19k. He promised me that’s the cheapest I’d find. I was your typical sleezy sales person but the car seemed in decent shape. Asking price was almost 19k. He promised me that’s the cheapest I’d find. I googled the car in front of him and found the same care for 13k two miles away at another Honda dealership. Same mileage an all. He threw in some perks which now I see weren’t perks. It’s now 3 months that I’ve had the car. The front bumper popped out on the left. Looks like they banged it in just for the sake of the car. In addition, the car has died 4x in the last month. I was stranded at night on a Sunday and the 3k I spent in Honda’s roadside assistance doesn’t work on Sunday’s. Scammers. Do not go here. They are not honest, they are sleezy sales people who sell lemons More
I used TrueCar and was given an offer to buy a 2021 Civic which I accepted. A dealership rep contacted me, I sent him photos of the TrueCar offer, and he set me up with an appointment. When I got to the De which I accepted. A dealership rep contacted me, I sent him photos of the TrueCar offer, and he set me up with an appointment. When I got to the Dealership, the rep I talked to on the phone and the Sales Manager said the online price was a mistake on their part and would not honor it. They offered to sell me the car but for $7,000 more! I found this to be unacceptable and was very angry they wasted over 3 hours of my time. A complaint was filed with Honda USA and TrueCar. TERRIBLE and shady dealership! More
By far the absolute worst dealer experience I've ever had with Honda. I took my car in for service because it would not start. After leaving it for a few hours I get a call saying I need a new battery, coola with Honda. I took my car in for service because it would not start. After leaving it for a few hours I get a call saying I need a new battery, coolant change, rear brakes, and transmission fluid change all coming to over a thousand dollars total. I was told my rear brakes were metal to metal at this point, yet I was not having any issues with them in any way. I was not expecting such a list however I agreed to purchase the new battery and transmission fluid change because it seemed the most urgent. Two days later I bought my rear brakes to have them replaced (not by the dealer) and it turns out they're perfectly fine! I have the shop check my coolant which was said to need replacement which turns out to be total B.S at this point I have doubt in their quality of work so I ask the shop to check the transmission fluid which was supposedly just changed and to my surprise it was dirty! It turns out Honda of Hollywood charged me for a transmission fluid change yet failed to provide the service. At this point this is outrageous! I head over to Culver City Honda to get a second opinion about the quality of my transmission fluid, lo and behold they agreed Honda of Hollywood had in fact not changed my transmission fluid and just ripped me off. I have them state this in writing and head back to Honda of Hollywood to get my money back. I go into the service center to talk to the manager and as I explain the situation he rudely shuts me down stating there is no way to check my transmission fluid because my car does not have a dipstick. Astonishing to think someone in his position might know a thing or two about the vehicles he works with yet has no idea what he is talking about. I then bring my car into the service department for him to inspect with the help of tech. The tech pulls the dipstick from my car and as most people should know new transmission fluid should be quite clear and red while mine was dark brown. To my surprise the tech then says this fluid is still pretty clean -- I'm taken aback by this because this is supposed to be a brand new fluid that had just been changed by them! The Manager said in a snarky tone the best he can do is change the fluid for a “second time” and this time we can watch. By far the most unsatisfactory customer service ever to which I told them I do not want them doing anything to my vehicle and simply want my money back, the manager aggressively responded he will not give me my money back. This is not an empty accusation as two certified auto shops one of them being another Honda dealer confirming my transmission had not been changed. I will never again do business with this location ever again and warn others to stay far away saving time and money. It is unfortunate to say but Honda’s name has been stained and it is people and situations like this that are to blame. More
NEVER DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP. They will lie and say they are giving you things for free as part of the deal I went to trade in my Honda that I had leased three years before. When it was t lie and say they are giving you things for free as part of the deal I went to trade in my Honda that I had leased three years before. When it was time to make a deal they said the would throw in the service contract and take care of my license and documentation fee. When I got the contract I looked at the price and I asked is this the sticker price because it had a price plus and additional 2,000 dollars. I said so this is the sticker price including the 2k they said yes. I didn't think they would lie outright to face so I didn't ask them to bring me the sticker for car. When I got home with the car I pulled out the sticker and sure enough they had added 2000 over sticker. I called them and said why did you lie to me and they said it was to cover the service contract. They were now denying that the service contract was free and I knew about the 2,000 over sticker. I told them I wanted to return the car and they said all sales are final. This is just part of the deception there were other lies that I didn't get to but this should be enough for you to know to never go there. More
