My husband and I visited this dealership to price cars. Our salesman was new and sought the assistance of another. This was fine. For this first encounter, everyone was friendly and eager to sell a car. We left thinking all was well. Upon our return, we were presented with another car as an option to buy (after riding around a week in the car we chose), stating credit issues. We should never have been allowed to leave if there were issues. The car presented had double the mileage but only $6000 off the price. The financial person was condescending at best, acting as if he was doing us a favor. Buying a car at any price, whether financed or not, is a sale not a favor. The seller will always get money for the purchase, I was not walking away with a free car. After being shown, first the vehicle describe above, and then a car the smelled of cigarettes, we decided to return the vehicle and leave the same way we came. Once the vehicle was return, we received text to batter and come back to pick up the original vehicle. Finally, the car (a pilot) was sold to us with a cracked bumper (cover up paint had been used to attempt to conceal the damage). We brought it to the attention of the dealer and was told if we had caught it prior to the car leaving the lot, we would have fixed it. Why do vehicle damages have to be caught by the buyer to be corrected by the seller. The car was listed as a Honda certified used vehicle. When money was deducted from the price, it was no longer certified but it was still supposidly in certifiable condition. I guess certification does not include cracked bumpers. Also, when we called to inquire about the damaged bumper, no one would return the calls or even text. I guess texting is only convenient to ensure the sale. I was and continue to be quite disappointed with the service, to include the receptionist who was equally rude, when I stated my displeasure with the notion of sending someone away with a car under the impression its a done deal. Ryan H. was friendly, business-like and attentive to my concerns. He was diligent helping me find the type deal that worked for me. I went to Honda, interested in purchasing a newer used vehicle that day. I looked at 3 different CR-V's. the sales man (Scott, I think) was nice on the surface, but when talking cars, tunrned on his sch vehicle that day. I looked at 3 different CR-V's. the sales man (Scott, I think) was nice on the surface, but when talking cars, tunrned on his schmoozy sales training and was a total turn off. He tried to impress me with the immaculate leather interior on one car, only to abandon that pitch when I pointed out the nickel sized hole clearly visible on the driver's seat. He started up the same vehicle, in which black smoke began pouring out of the exhaust pipe. I told him I wouldn't even consider driving anything that was smoking, and he had the nerve to try to pass it off as condensation built up because it was a rainy day and also that it had been sitting for awhile. Another vehicle had some poorly repaired dings in the bumper and when I commented on the poor paint repair, he told me twice that it hadn't been painted. Hello!!! I'm looking at a quarter and dime sized chips out of the paint that looked like someone took white out to it! Then, to top it off, the vehicle had a price over $4000 higher than advertised on the website. The reason? That's the "internet price, or the bottom line sales price", according to these people, although they could never clearly define what this meant. Well, who wouldn't want the lowest price? They have a disgusting practice of giving your keys to the sales manager after placing a value on your trade in, which was grotesquely low, by the way. Then when you demand your keys back, Dan the slug creeps from his office and tries to bully you into staying and buying a car. The final jacked up total on the vehicle they were pushing at me ended up being $6000 more than the one year newer and 14,000 miles lower CR-V that I went immediately to Southeast Cars and purchased within 40 minutes, WITH full warranty and NO dealers fees! What these idiots failed to recognize is that although I may be a sweet southern woman, I test in the 95 percentile, which means I'm in the top 5% of the most intelligent people on this planet. I am quite sure no one at that dealership is anywhere near that, and to think they can use their lame sales lines and pushiness to cooerce people is appalling. They have forever lost my business, in addition to my Mother's, and two of my friends who went and purchased SUV's from SE Cars the very next day. I couldn't even count how many people have been turned off of them at this time, as I have made sure to let everyone I know about this place. I wouldn't reccommend that ANYONE give these people any kind of business. They took Wade Raulerson Honda and ruined it, turning our city's Honda dealership into nothing but deception and overpriced vehicles. More

First the staff at Gainsville Honda were so helpful and dealing with Bernie and Jay was exceptionally the best. We would always tell people to go there and talk to them if looking for a car. I have dealt many times with dealers but this was the first time I felt so comfortable. They are great. The fit is so comfortable to drive,it is so roomy,we are big people and have lots of room, driving is so easy. I am so glad and happy we bought the Homda Fit and would buy more cars from this exceptional dealership. Thank you again Bernie and Jay More
I just recently moved to Gainesville, but had to utilize this Honda dealership 6 months prior to my move due to a mechanical problem that arrose with my car as I was visiting the city. I was very impressed this Honda dealership 6 months prior to my move due to a mechanical problem that arrose with my car as I was visiting the city. I was very impressed with their quick service and hospitality that I returned for regular service after I moved to Gainesville. My second experience was just as great as my initial encounter. My Honda advisor was very good at explaining what my car needed and why. He also brought to my attention about a recall item that would need to be checked out on my car while it was in for service. I was waiting for the repairs to be done so he gave me a tour of their newly remodeled dealership so I was familiar with all the amenities that were available (bathrooms, deli, TV - sitting area, Wi-fi, and a quiet area that I could use to conduct work related tasks. It is great to have food service available because their is not many options in this part of town when you do not have a car at our disposal because it is getting repaired. More
We had excellent service and great care was taken to explain how all of the various items worked - other than the basic operation of the car. explain how all of the various items worked - other than the basic operation of the car. More
