This is our sixth Honda Accord, and from time of arrival to leaving in new car was less than two hours. We really appreciate that Olumide was straightforward and well informed, and the sales managers were friendly and not too pushy. The car we wanted was parked right out front, like it was waiting for us. We like the new features of the 2013 Accord, and it is parked right next to our 2009. (We traded a 2003). We had test drove the Toyota Camry Hybrid in late August, and were ready to buy. Our experience at the Gainesville Toyota dealership had us running into the pouring rain (they held the keys to our trade until it was storming.) They played every one of those dumb games about financing, value of trades, hanging on to keys, special deals. Argggh. We were paying cash, and we just wanted to buy a car. Thanks for not doing all those things. More

However, the price on my car went up as Luis "sold" me the extended warranty and GAP insurance. I was never sure what I was actually paying for anything. My experience with Sheryl was Good. However, after purchasing the car, I felt that I did not get what I expected -- especially with the after-market Nav/BT system. Features of this system were not as described when Sheryl showed me the system in the CR-V. Since mine was after-market, my system was NOT like the one in the CR-V, so that demonstration left me with unfillable expectations. Other features that Sheryl showed me (apparently in cars that I was not purchasing) are not in the Fit basic -- again, I was disappointed & confused. Regarding Overall Experience: I really love my new car. I have been a Gainesville Honda customer since 1995. Buying a car is a big decision. I need facts, but want to avoid that overwhelming feeling when too much, too fast (information) is coming at me. Regarding Price: I received a good price for the car & trade-in according to the initial agreement, but the additional warranty & GAP insurance brought me right back to $300/mo. -- I was hoping for less than $250/mo. Went in for an oil change and was pleasantly surprised at receiving a carwash, etc. There was some issues that were pointed out to me during the multi-point inspection and I really liked having each issue br receiving a carwash, etc. There was some issues that were pointed out to me during the multi-point inspection and I really liked having each issue broken down to me. Brad Craig went over how each of the issues could cause an issue, and what the risk was. It really was a good experience for me. More

stopped by today just to look. Fully plan on making a used car purchase sometime in the next few weeks, but am just looking for now. Steven was very helpful, not pushy. Even though I made it clear I woul used car purchase sometime in the next few weeks, but am just looking for now. Steven was very helpful, not pushy. Even though I made it clear I would not be buying or even test driving today, he spent time with me. I have a pretty low price range I'm looking at, and he did not keep encouraging me to go over my budget, which the two other dealers I stopped at did. I may be coming back to buy a car from them, just because of the service today. More

My husband and I visited this dealership to price cars. Our salesman was new and sought the assistance of another. This was fine. For this first encounter, everyone was friendly and eager to sell a car. We left thinking all was well. Upon our return, we were presented with another car as an option to buy (after riding around a week in the car we chose), stating credit issues. We should never have been allowed to leave if there were issues. The car presented had double the mileage but only $6000 off the price. The financial person was condescending at best, acting as if he was doing us a favor. Buying a car at any price, whether financed or not, is a sale not a favor. The seller will always get money for the purchase, I was not walking away with a free car. After being shown, first the vehicle describe above, and then a car the smelled of cigarettes, we decided to return the vehicle and leave the same way we came. Once the vehicle was return, we received text to batter and come back to pick up the original vehicle. Finally, the car (a pilot) was sold to us with a cracked bumper (cover up paint had been used to attempt to conceal the damage). We brought it to the attention of the dealer and was told if we had caught it prior to the car leaving the lot, we would have fixed it. Why do vehicle damages have to be caught by the buyer to be corrected by the seller. The car was listed as a Honda certified used vehicle. When money was deducted from the price, it was no longer certified but it was still supposidly in certifiable condition. I guess certification does not include cracked bumpers. Also, when we called to inquire about the damaged bumper, no one would return the calls or even text. I guess texting is only convenient to ensure the sale. I was and continue to be quite disappointed with the service, to include the receptionist who was equally rude, when I stated my displeasure with the notion of sending someone away with a car under the impression its a done deal.
