Came to the dealership with a friend and was not planning to buy a new car myself. Matt was very patient and answered all of my questions regarding the safety and performance of the CR-V that I was only pla to buy a new car myself. With some discussion, I was able to determine that I could afford to replace my vehicle with a new model and get a car that I absolutely fell in love with. He immediately impressed us as a very nice young man, friendly, solicitious, listened and was respectful as we explained what we were looking for and why. He also impressed us with his knowledge of the product. I, as a retlred college teacher, was impressed with his articulate manner. One of the things I appreciated most was that I never had the feeling of being pressured. I didn't feel that after one hour I was supposed to sit down and write a check for twenty plus thousand. That was the mistake the Toyota man made. (We had gone there first because we own a Toyota truck which we intend to keep.) Ryan's manager played a part in our forming such a high opinion of the dealership. When my wife casually mentioned she was going to miss our camping van (our trade-in) the manager immediately told us about a tent that could attach to the back of the Honda and got one from the storeroom and just gave it to us. My wife expressed a little less than enthusiasm for the color of the CRV I thought we'd buy. The manager and Ryan immediately said they wanted to show us a vehicle they both thought had a color scheme that would impress her. It did and they said they'd have the CRV we wanted on the lot in three days. So that's what we bought. It wasn't just the Honda that sold us. it was the two men and their character that sealed the deal. More
