Poor show Went in looking for a possible trade on my corolla (financed) to a CRV (lease). We worked out numbers for per month and had a tentative deal. Few days after ready for pick up day we couldn't reach an agreement in the finance office based on residuals that were quoted and meeting my needs trying to keep open the option to buy the car after 3 years. As a customer, I believe I was in my right to walk from the deal at that stage and the finance rep understood this as my needs couldn't be met. My assigned salesman quickly changed his tune, and avoided eye contact at the end in leaving my keys on the desk, i was left at the desk not knowing where my car was parked and where my documents i'd give the salesman were (my registration, papers, my insurance card etc.). I find the salesman complaining in the finance office and i asked where my stuff was and where my car was, the finance rep looked at him signaling to assist me out, and outside i apologized saying "i'm sorry we couldn't work out the numbers" and he replies "yeah well i'm soaked on my day off" and stormed off inside - it was raining so i get this. However, this experience was unacceptable as a customer, I understand sales is commission based, but I should have felt comfortable with my purchase and had a right to leave if not okay with the deal, not to have a salesman become very rude at the end of the day. Not to mention I overlooked all the casual profanity throughout the sale by my salesman as I thought we had rapport and he felt comfortable to do so which is fine - as did I at that point, and on pickup day, he leaves his vape on the table in front of me during the paperwork. When making casual convo, i asked before this went down how his targets were and if it's hard over the holidays, and he replies he was doing good and "well i'm the best out of the new people". It's all well and good when the sales going through but if it doesn't, I was treated like dirt after. Beware of this dealership that other reviews seem show consistency in this behaviour pattern. I also overheard on pickup day another salesman in the next cubicle over joking about another customer not making a decision in a negative manner. Can't imagine if this is what a sale process looked like, if i'd gone through with the car, what headaches i would have with the service. Needs improvement. More

2019 Honda Accord. TERRIBLE Service department and Service Manager! DO NOT GO THERE!!!! They try and rip you off. I skimmed by a raccoon and it deflected off my sensor in my front bumper that assists Service Manager! DO NOT GO THERE!!!! They try and rip you off. I skimmed by a raccoon and it deflected off my sensor in my front bumper that assists in distance control with collision mitigation and cruise control distance. The sensor lost the grommet that hold it in place on the left side and aligns it straight forward. I asked them if they could reset the sensor and add the grommet back on. I got a call back saying the sensor is broken and I need to buy a new one and it is going to cost $1500! I asked did you try and reset the sensor and they said its bad and needs a new one. I accidentally said, "its not broken, it just needs to be reset bc its still communicating with the system and I read up on it and he said no its broke and you need a new one and I said I'm not buying a xxxxing new sensor for $1500. So they said they will see what the Service Manager can do. The Service "NON" manager confronted me saying you are not going to be rude to my employee's and I can go to another dealership and the sensor is broken. I said its not broken and you guys are trying to take me to the cleaners like the customer before me that you told had a tiny oil leak and if they wanted it fix properly it would need a seal and gasket and would cost them $1200. Give me a break! So he showed me out of the door and flung his arm away from me and said have a good day rudely, so I did the same back. I went home and used a push pin and 3 washers to align the sensor, then I secured it with safety wire. Unplugged the sensor while the car was running for 2 minutes and plugged it back in and the warning lights went away for the sensor. And what do you know.... the cruise control was working and brake mitigation. It only took me 20 minutes! The NON Manager said he confirmed the sensor was broken before I left the dealership. Crooked Honda of Gainesville. NEVER TAKE YOUR VEHICLE THERE AND NEVER DEAL WITH THE MANAGER! No customer service, not problem solving skills, no other options given to me but to replace something that was NOT broken. NEVER AGAIN will I deal with that CROOKED SERVICE DEPT. I'll drive to Jacksonville or Ocala before I go there ever. NASTY people. More

My only critique is waiting for financing/completing the sale which took a long time and involved going over lots of extra added costs (couldn't the salesperson help with that?). That said, the officer was polite, professional, and expedited things once in office. Great experience overall. Thanks Honda! More
