This was the fastest and most efficient car purchase ever! I was able to make an appointment with Ryan at my convenience; he had the car I wanted to drive pulled up and ready to go; gave me all the tim ever! There was just no pressure and no game playing and no double teaming with a sales manager standing over me. I got to drive off the lot with my new car on the same day! They even had food and drink for my granddaughter while we waited during the purchasing process. I left with Ryan's phone number for access for all questions and he offered to either talk me through any new devices on the car or arrange a stop back by for personal instruction. Ryan is so great to work with, this was the best car buy of my (pretty old) life! More
The sales rep, Matt Like, was very friendly, attentive, and responsive. He went beyond what was expected to satisfy me as his customer. I highly recommend Matt. I was really hesitant to let go of my beloved (but banged up) 1989 Civic and am grateful that Paul Roark suggested that I first check out a new car before sinking even more $ into repairing the Civic. I have been dealing with this dealership since I bought my first Honda in 2000.The other day while waiting for my car to be serviced I started looking at new cars, with no real intent to buy. I love my 20 my first Honda in 2000.The other day while waiting for my car to be serviced I started looking at new cars, with no real intent to buy. I love my 2000 Honda Accord. James Quesenberry was the salesman I talked with. He was so patient with me and all my questions and visits, after the first. He worked hard to find what I wanted and on my 80th birthday (9/4) my birthday present to myself was a brand new Honda Civic. For 13 years my old car was serviced at this dealership (thank you Paul) and I know that is why it is in such great condition. I would certainly recommend this dealership, their service department, and sales department. I thank James again for helping me with all the steps for trading my wonderful Accord and getting a new Civic. Before I left the lot he even sat in the car with me, helped me set all the new things for my needs, and made sure I was comfortable in the car. More
We had an almost impossible set of criteria for purchase of a new car and really loved our old car -- did not want to trade, but wanted to see what was available. Mr. Quisenberry was so courteous and helpful, letting us try several vehicles over and over and pointing out the options that might meet the needs of an elderly man with a disability. There was no pressure, and we went home with a written offer to consider. The next day we decided to return and hopefully make a decision. Both James and Frank Bradley were direct and fair in negotiations and we felt we agreed on a good, fair deal. Luis helped us patiently with the endless details of paperwork. Everyone we dealt with was pleasant and courteous, helping us think they believed we were important customers. We had dealt previously with their service department, and that was another reason we chose Honda of Gainesville. More
It was a great experience. Dean and Harris were very attentive and helped steer us to the perfect vehicle for us (2014 Ody EX-L). The F&I person, Luis, was very good as well. My only complaint is the that the internet went down greatly delaying the signing of the paperwork with Luis. It was not his fault and he was very apologetic, but you should upgrade your internet service. It is unacceptable to be delayed by an hour when making a 35k$ purchase because of such things. More
James Quesenberry made the buying experience very easy and fun. He was patient (I emailed him many times with tons of questions) and courteous. His excitement about the car I bought was contagious. Unlike any other car buying experience I'd had before, he took the time to show me how every single feature of the car worked (it's pretty complicated, so that was very helpful). He also gave me a great deal on the car. Definitely consider speaking with him first if you want to buy a Honda. More
Had brake job and got a few miles away, heard a distinctive sound. Went back and when they pulled the wheel the mechanic had obviously slipped with a tool a gouged the rotor. They had to have known but let us leave with it like that. When we took it back they were rude and annoyed that we discovered the problem. On top of that, they let a fraudulent glass replacement company try to pressure us into having our windshield replaced, unnecessarily. More
I was looking in Gainesville for a used 4WD or AWD SUV. I had been to 3 other dealers that afternoon and my friend said to me that I had a Honda Pilot why wasn't I looking for another one since I loved it. So we went to the Honda of Gainesville. We went inside and asked all the gentlemen there where were the used cars. They asked what was I looking for and they called the other lot as we were in the new showroom. They said they had what I was looking for and showed me where to go. As we were walking across the parking lot a gentleman named Chris met us and knew what to show me. I loved that they all communicated on my behalf. I wasn't wasting their time and didn't waste my time. I drove the car and talked to Chris about my trade. I told him I would be back and he told me to call him anytime on his cell. Then on Sunday I called him with my decision to make a deal and he met me there at 4:00 and we sealed the deal. He was very professional and courteous. I felt comfortable with him and the finance manager. My husband went back to sign paperwork and was treated the same way. I know this car will last many years and I love it. More
