Admirable Customer Service Matt is a "go getter", he not only provided the upmost cheerful customer service that I have ever received at a dealership but he "makes things happen Matt is a "go getter", he not only provided the upmost cheerful customer service that I have ever received at a dealership but he "makes things happen"! He isn't your typical salesman. He is about the customer 100% and doesn't low ball trade in values. He understands circumstances and does everything in his power to get you in the perfect vehicle (with a smile the entire time). George Jenkins (founder of Publix Super Markets) once said "At Publix, we are really in the people's business, we just happen to sell groceries"! I would say you could use the same phrase about Honda of Gainesville. They just happen to sell cars! Thank you Matt for all of your hard work and dedication to car buyers like me! More

From the moment I walked in the door, I was treated with kindness and understanding and I never once felt pressured to do anything I wasn't comfortable with. I'm a 23 year old female buying her first car, so I was very timid about the overall situation. Mike, Shane, Jesse, Matt and John made every step of the process easy, affordable and carefree! I could tell they truly cared for me and my business and didn't just see me as another number. I am so grateful for the people at this institution and I am now the proud owner of a new Honda Accord EXL!! I wouldnt recommend ANYWHERE else is Gainesville as much as HOG! More
Didn't inform customer history of car or gave carfax Went to help son purchase a car. Because he lived in Gainesville I told him he could go there because I always go to Brandon Honda and I believed all Went to help son purchase a car. Because he lived in Gainesville I told him he could go there because I always go to Brandon Honda and I believed all service was the same. They offer Son a Honda Civic 2005 with 26,000 miles, he didn't want that so they sold him a 2009 Honda accord, at the same time I work with my husband to purchase the Honda Civic. I didn't know to ask for a carfax. I put my trust in the Sales Rep and Financial adviser to give the facts about car. I know it's not the Law but I really though Honda holds up there image. 1 year later 53,000 miles my car Blow Head Gastics, no warning signs at all. Because I was over 300 miles from warranty insurance wouldn't fix it. After spending 800 dollars getting car fix it still was running right. Went to Honda Dealer in Brandon asked for carfax and find out Car was in Accident 2 months before I purchase it. That would have made a Big different in my decision in purchasing the car. So the Friendlyness appeared to be honest, little did I know everything wasn't being revealed More

I was nervous and scared, not thinking I would walk away with a car that I really wanted. Eric Palmer really made me and my mom feel comfortable. He made sure we had an understanding of the process and made us a great deal. Also, Matt Like always made sure we were okay and that we were taken care of. I am so thankful and couldn't be happier. After the trying year that I've had, this was truly a blessing. Thank you Eric and Matt! Thank you Honda of Gainesville!!! More

James Quesenberry and Chris Irvin worked together with my husband and I to get the perfect vehicle with the best financing possible. I can't thank James enough for his interest in me as a buyer in that he kept in contact with me via email before the purchase and listened to my concerns. Julio Perez did and outstanding job handling the paperwork and was very informative as we signed each piece of paperwork. This was the most pleasant experience my husband and I have had buying a new vehicle. I love my new 2016 CRV and I love Honda of Gainesville! More
HORRIBLE DEALERSHIP! I was at the beginning of a search for a vehicle and wanted to just test drive an Accord. my employer will be purchasing (cash outright) the vehicle f I was at the beginning of a search for a vehicle and wanted to just test drive an Accord. my employer will be purchasing (cash outright) the vehicle from a different dealership out of state and he wasn't in a position to make the decision. I of course told him this. The sales person Harry (who said he was the highest sales agent, most senior..yada yada) insisted I go through the "information gathering stage". I'm very hesitant to give out personal information, as these guys will not leave you alone once you test drive a car. I just wanted to test drive a vehicle. I didn't even want a price. They treat you as a criminal and not a customer. I am in sales and understand the "qualifying" process and the need to grow the database. After test driving two vehicles, I went to leave and the sales person offered me some water as it was very hot (and I'm disabled). I accepted, sat down and then the sales person said he will get in trouble if he doesn't get some information to meet his "prospect list" goals. I gave him my employers name and my work cell. I told him not to contact me at all, ever! If I was interested, the car will purchase from another dealer out of state. He agreed, telling me some most likely fake experience he had and understood. He came back FIFTEEN minutes later without water, but with an offer on the vehicles my employee test drove, which by the way, were $4k more than what I have found to be the prices. He obviously had no regard for what the customer was asking. Of course I chose to leave and reminded him not to contact me. 2 days later I get some "survey call" and he called me at 8pm the next day. I told him not to call ever again. He called 2 weeks later. My employer has been getting flyers and post cards since then and this sales guy called me 3 times and I got 4 robo calls trying to see if I was satisfied. Fast forward to last week. we decided it was the right time to purchase and we decided on an Accord EX-L. I decided to inquire with the dealership, via the internet, what the price would be. I got a generic reply saying please call some guy names Eric Palmer. My desire was to do this by email and in writing and I replied letting him know my wishes. He still called pretending to see if I got his e-mail. I told him to reply via e-mail only asking him not to call me. I got a generic quote without any detail of which color, trim or options were on this vehicle and it was also $3k higher than any other quote I received from area dealers. I replied asking for more information and got some cut and paste job about car washes, pin stripes and some other irrelevant dealer information. This morning I get a call from Eric Palmer again using the lame excuse of asking if I got his reply. When I asked him why he continued to call, he argued with me saying I am not doing business with Gainesville Honda and hung up on me. If this is how this dealership is run, with disrespect and contempt for it's potential customers, I can only imagine how badly they will treat you once you are stuck in their vehicle. Sadly, the only two Honda dealerships are owned by the same person and the other one won't let foreigners test drive and discriminates against foreigners. Oh, and lastly, Corporate is no help. They refer you back to the GM of the dealership. Needless to say I decided to get one of their competitors vehicle! More
