What a pleasant experience! No waiting around while "discussions" were held, just an amazingly quick, thorough and easy purchase. Couldn't have gone any better. More
Used Volvo purchase Despite the fact that we had a wedding to attend later in the day they took the time to do the purchase right and get us out of there when we needed Despite the fact that we had a wedding to attend later in the day they took the time to do the purchase right and get us out of there when we needed too. They were stellar on getting the paperwork processed. Our salesperson , Alex, was very good. Deal with him if he's available. The only complaint that I'd have was that the salesperson was not entirely familiar with the operation of the car. Then again, with a lot of different models and brands to be sold I'm not sure how you could be, so I'll give him a pass on that. Dave More

Satisfied Customer I had an appointment, was taken in right away, told what servicing was needed, given an estimated price and told approximate time to wait. When my car I had an appointment, was taken in right away, told what servicing was needed, given an estimated price and told approximate time to wait. When my car was ready(on time), Bryan came to me and showed me what was done and that it cost a lot less because they found no need to do something. I like honesty. I would never have known the difference. That, plus the friendliness, are why i go to Honda of Freehold. More
Three Strikes And You're Out! In the past year alone, I have had three negative experiences with Honda of Freehold. In all fairness, I have had mostly non-eventful encounters with In the past year alone, I have had three negative experiences with Honda of Freehold. In all fairness, I have had mostly non-eventful encounters with regular oil changes. However, one time in mid-2016, I went in for a routine oil change. As soon as I pulled my car into the service bay, I was approached by someone who fast-talked me into getting my windshield fixed of little chips free of charge. This person only wanted to see who my insurance carrier was and asked to see my insurance card and asked for my cell number. He circled seven chips on my windshield and said I will be speaking directly to my insurance carrier at which time I was directed to say that I only had three chips, otherwise my insurance carrier will require the entire windshield panel to be replaced. I said that I didn't want anything to go through my insurance carrier to which this person responded that he assured me that nothing will go through my insurance carrier and this was just a service that my insurance company was providing with his company through the dealership. While I was waiting for the oil change, I received a phone call from a lady who wanted to put me through a three-way call with my insurance carrier to speak about the windshield. I asked if she worked for my insurance carrier directly and she said she did not. I told her that I was mislead into thinking that I was going to deal directly with my insurance company. I felt deceived and said I was not comfortable going through with this. The lady was kind enough to cancel whatever was needed. Shortly thereafter, the person I spoke with came up to me to ask what the problem was. I told him that he had deceived me at which time he said the chips had already been fixed and that there would be no charge. My second negative experience was while I was trying to purchase a new vehicle. I obtained an online out-the-door price on a CR-V from a internet specialist and was told to go into the dealership to finalize the paperwork with an actual salesman. The person I was dealing with online couldn't be there so she asked that I deal with a showroom person instead. When I went into the dealership, I was confronted with confused salespersons who had no ideal what I was taking about and that the person I was communicating with wasn't even there. The sales manager looked at my pricing and said there was no way he could touch those numbers. He offered me a price that was several thousand dollars higher. I walked away very displeased and when I spoke to the internet salesperson, she said the price will definitely be honored. By then, I had already dealt with another dealership (Open Road Honda) where I negotiated an even better price and bought my CR-V without incident. The third experience was when I was getting my first oil change to my new CR-V. I called Honda of Freehold and spoke to a lady to ask how long the wait was for an oil change without an appointment because I needed to be somewhere later that day. As a side note, Honda of Freehold has an one-hour guarantee oil change. This lady said I should not have any problems if I were to bring my vehicle in now. When I arrived, the Service Director greeted me and said someone will be with me shortly. After a little bit of waiting, the service manager said he will register me in so as to not wait any longer. While he was taking down my VIN and looking the car over, he said "You didn't buy this from us." To which I responded by saying I tried to but you guys were too expensive. Immediately, his tone with me changed and he said it will be a while before they get to my vehicle. I said I had just spoke with a lady who said there shouldn't be any wait. The Service Director then walked over to a lady who was on the phone. He asked her if she had spoken to anyone on the phone to tell them there would be no wait and she motioned to him that she had not. The manager then told me that she was the only female working and she said she hadn't spoken to anyone. Hearing all this, a mechanic was standing by and he said he could take my vehicle in. The manager immediately refused this person's suggestion. I couldn't wait so I left. To add insult to injury, I received a phone call from a lady who inquired about my old car and wanted to offer me a discount for my next service. I told her of my horrible experience when I brought in my CR-V. She said she will bring it up with the General Manager to which I replied that I don't believe she will given the dealership's horrible track record. This lady said she will surely bring it up with the General Manager and that he will definitely call me back. I told her that I still didn't believe her and that that only way I would is if I receive a phone call. Needless to say, I never got that call. More
A very enjoyable experience. My wife and I have leased several cars from this dealership. We were intrigued by the 2017 Honda CRV due to some new features that our 2015 CRV did no My wife and I have leased several cars from this dealership. We were intrigued by the 2017 Honda CRV due to some new features that our 2015 CRV did not have so we went to see if a turn in early on our vehicle was workable and test drive the 2017. Loved the test drive, new features, especially the power tailgate. We went in thinking we would get away from black and go with a silver until we saw a car behind us as we were talking to Ron Teplitzky in a brand new color, Sandstorm. We told Ron we wanted that color, unfortunately, they had none on their lot. We gave Ron a deposit and he assured us he would find a CRV in Sandstorm. Since it was a new color, it took him a few days to find it. During the time we first met Ron to the time he found the car, Ron had taken a fall and he was pretty banged up, yet, he drove to a dealership just over the North Jersey border and delivered our car to us. Ron went the extra mile, or miles, for us!! Both my wife and I liked Ron the minute we met him. He was the furthest thing from the stereotyped car salesman. Ron was warm, friendly, affable and you knew that he would take care of us. We would recommend Ron Teplitzky to everyone and anyone that was looking to buy a car at Freehold Honda. More
