My wife and I arrived at Frank Kent Honda one evening to be greeted by Ms. Sheri Ballard. I had already found the auto on-line that I wanted to look at (a 2009 Accord). I received a promotion regarding buy-back of Honda Insight. I went to the dealership with the assumption that it would not be as it stated. But, I was interested in trading for a pickup needed for h Insight. I went to the dealership with the assumption that it would not be as it stated. But, I was interested in trading for a pickup needed for hauling and working. The Insight was a great car and got great mileage. But, hauling was not a feature offered. So, going in with a negative attitude but a need, Michael worked with me in a variety of ways to pull out what my goal and need really was. And, he REALLY had to pull info from me because I wasn't totally clear how to get to my bottom line. Once Michael understood what I needed, he quickly took charge and made it all happen. I didn't have to ask for the car fax, he volunteered the info. He had the pickup cleaned and gassed up at pick up. He was extremely patient and appeared to be a strong advocate for me. There were times during the discussion where I just thought of going home, not because of the negotiations but because I wasn't clear on what I needed or could do. Michael didn't give up but patiently kept pulling information out until it became clear to me as to what I needed to do. I really thank him for that. He wasn't over zealous like most salepersons are, but sought to help me clarify in my mind as to what I wanted. We do miss the Insight and the gas mileage it got, but we are very satisfied with the pickup and it fits our needs well, that is of course except when hitting the gas pumps. Thanks, Michael, for all you did and thanks to the rest of the staff for after the deal was struck. By the way, I wanted to confirm Michael's last name for this review but could not find it on any of the paperwork. The salesman's name on the one document was not Michael's but the financial person. Perhaps the name could be somewhere on at least one of the forms (printed, not a signature). More
I am really enjoying the car that I purchased from Frank Kent Honda. I had a mechanic/body shop owner look the car over after driving it home and he offered me his congratulations.
