Lying to upsell My 2014 Accord Hybrid with 42000 miles on it was in for an oil change. Service Advisor D.W. Dingman called to inform me that the transmission fluid wa My 2014 Accord Hybrid with 42000 miles on it was in for an oil change. Service Advisor D.W. Dingman called to inform me that the transmission fluid was due to be changed at 30,000, and it had not yet been done. He asked if I would like them to go ahead and perform this $85 service. I declined, then did some research. Best I can tell, Honda recommends this service at 90,000 miles, not 30,000 miles. I can understand the desire to sell services, but lying to do it is over the line. I have one more prepaid oil change coming, and after that, I will never return to this dealership. I will recommend that friends and family avoid it as well. More
