Turned out that when they did their inspection the battery was below minimums. They replaced it and since I was still just short of the end of my warranty period it cost me nothing. In another few months I would have spent $125 or so to replace that battery. In addition to the oil change and tire rotation I had coupons for, I also had them replace the windshield wiper blades, front and rear. Total cost $58 and change. With the $125 savings mentioned above, it was a great deal. Oh yeah, they also washed the car. Can't say they aren't trying! More

Disappointed Asked the service dept to run a diagnostic on the engine as we were planning to drive the van across the country. After all is said and done, they ran Asked the service dept to run a diagnostic on the engine as we were planning to drive the van across the country. After all is said and done, they ran a safety check on the car instead (i.e., brakes, tire treads, battery, etc.). The advisor did not mention anything about the engine nor did the paperwork. I can't understand how they skipped this request, especially when I chose the "engine diagnostic" service when making the appointment on the website. This is one reason why I do most of my own maintenance and repair at home. More
