Decent Experience but beware of bait and switch Overall, my experience was ok. My salesman was pleasant and accommodating. He definitely played the good cop role well during the dreaded negotiation phase. One thing to watch out for with this dealership is the bait and switch. The ads, which summoned me to the dealer, on their own website and Facebook are very misleading. Not only do they not have the models that apply to the advertised deals, they do not even have any of the model year 18 inventory. (I can only speak to the Oddyssey) I will say they eventually did offer to find and bring a ‘18 unit, but it was completely sight unseen, no indication of where it was coming from and it wouldn’t get there for a couple days, which I was not comfortable with. So, I settled on ‘19 inventory with more options and paid additional out of my comfort zone. Also, I was put off by the significant costs of the add-ons offered when signing the finance paperwork. The base warranty package was about $75 extra per month, which would’ve put my already over budgeted monthly amount in a whole new tier. Lastly, as I drove my beautifully detailed van 3 miles back home, I noticed there was an issue with the A/C not working properly. I immediately took the van back to the dealer. It was in their shop for 7 days until fixed. During this time, I was given a like-model loaner at no cost and very little inconvenience, which was very much appreciated. My gripe with the service was that it took so long and my vehicle had 30+ miles put on it and over a quarter tank of fuel used and not replaced. Bottom line: unless you are made of money, car buying experiences are never great. You always end up feeling like you’ve been raked over the coals. It’s the little things and personal touches that can set a dealership apart from the rest, keep you coming back and, ultimately, recommending to a friend. I would come back to this dealer, but, realistically, only because of convenience. More
