We were more willing to drive the 40 plus miles to Honda of Downtown Los Angeles, the city we were both born in, to obtain our price. Over many decades of buying new cars, we have often found the experience needlessly stressful. Not so for the purchase of our new 2024 CRV Hybrid Sport L. Oscar and the others were completely transparent. I especially appreciated the staff's help in getting us the $500 Military Appreciation discount. That means a lot to us after a sometimes very different, and not so good treatment, during the 1960s and 1970s by general public. This is the third Honda we have purchased over the years and this experience restored a positive image of Honda in our minds. A year ago another dealership in the suburbs made us an offer in writing on a new CRV, that they retracted the next day, but tried to get us to drive 80 plus miles again to consider and look at completely different Honda models. Needless to say, we quit looking at new cars for a year, till we bought our new 2024 CRV Hybrid at Honda of Downtown Los Angeles. More
