Horrible Service Advisor Jacob Caraway. He's dishonest. I was overcharged for work only a dealership could do... I called in and requested a service quote to flash the computer on my vehicl He's dishonest. I was overcharged for work only a dealership could do... I called in and requested a service quote to flash the computer on my vehicle ($160)... I had my vehicle towed from one shop to Honda of Covington... When they received my vehicle everything changed... Jacob Caraway was the most ridiculous service advisor I have ever dealt with... Instead of advising he's more concerned with what work the other shop did to the vehicle (which I had explained to him before my vehicle was towed in), he also charged me a $200 upcharge because the other shop did work to my vehicle (it cost because we have to go behind someone else)... All I needed was the computer flashed (only a dealership can do this)... He started the other shop did a good job on my vehicle but I still have to pay the $200... No other shop could flash the computer except for a dealership... I would never deal with Honda of Covington for service nor purchase and I have made several purchases from this dealership and I still own one car that I've purchased from them... More

I had a "reserved" oil change appointment for 1 o'clock. I got there at 1, but didn't get the car until 2:15. When I made the initial appointment I asked the price of an oil change and was told it was $50-s I got there at 1, but didn't get the car until 2:15. I had no proof of the price I was quoted, so I paid. A lousy experience all around. I wouldn't go near that service department again. More

Stay away from the service department. In one year we’ve had 3 bad experiences: wife’s van needed plugs at 100k miles but they said the piston rings needed replacing, $4700. Tested equal and adequate in all cylinders. Car is fine with no signs of piston ring failure. Son’s car: AC intermittently won’t turn on, no fan or anything. Said $1100 evaporator core. (That doesn’t run the blower) it was a $20 relay. Wife’s van: serviced transmission for vacation in the mountains. Got there and car started smoking bad on first big hill. Lifted hood and found transmission dipstick laying on top of engine. I called to complain and got “Oops! Sorry bout that” They had nothing to say about either false diagnosis. I drive to Baton Rouge for service now. More
