Tom Teiro was very helpful, not pushy. We enjoyed working with him. He went the extra mile to insure that we understood all the features of the Honda we were purchasing. Dealing with Tom was a plea working with him. He went the extra mile to insure that we understood all the features of the Honda we were purchasing. Dealing with Tom was a pleasure. Chris James did a fine job walking us through all the paperwork. He was very thorough in explaining everything to us. Both Tom and Chris were very friendly and professional - they are indeed assets to Honda of Concord! More

Both the internet sales manager and the business manager of Honda of Concord worked with me to get the best price not only for the 2011 Accord Sedan I purchased but for my trade-in. Both men were friendly, of Honda of Concord worked with me to get the best price not only for the 2011 Accord Sedan I purchased but for my trade-in. Before purchasing my vehicle, I spent a great deal of time doing my "homework" on the internet as well as visiting at least six other dealerships. In the end, I chose Honda of Concord. I was in the market for a 2009 Honda Civic Si so I submitted on online contact form on their website and received a very quick reply from Larry Fowler, the Internet sales manager. He has been with Honda for many many years and really knew his stuff. Ultimately, I decided to purchase through Honda of Concord because of the low sales pressure, professionalism, and genuine friendliness of Larry. I truly couldn't have asked for a better experience! Highly recommend Larry and it was well worth the 2 hour drive from Boone, NC. More
INSANELY AWFUL. My wife's car and My car, both became INSANELY AWFUL. My wife's car and My car, both became disabled, and were in market to buy a new one. So we started requesting quotes online for Ac INSANELY AWFUL. My wife's car and My car, both became disabled, and were in market to buy a new one. So we started requesting quotes online for Accord. Got a quote from David Pierce (Supposedly Manager) used Clem's name (another salesman) in an email mentioning exact make, model and trim level with OTD price. It was New 2009 Accord EX-L V6 w/Navi 4Door for $26,105.61 OTD. When we saw that email with the quoted OTD price, we were shocked to see that it was the cheapest ever. The email didn't have David's contact info since he had assigned that sale to Clem. So, we contacted Clem. I mentioned on the phone to Clem that this deal sounds too good to be true. Can he make sure with David that he would honor this price and make sure that color we wanted was available. Clem then reviewed the quote and he found himself surprised with the price as well, but he said, David is his manager and Clem does not have any power over him. So, he said, he would talk to David and confirm. An hour later Clem calls back and says that he talked to David and David said to come in and he will take care of me. At this point I said, can you please let me know what colors are available. He looked up the inventory and said that there were only 2 Accord EX-L V6 w/Navi 4Door available. They were both Silver. One of them being the Demo (with miles) and other one a showroom piece with every option imaginable installed. I mentioned that I requested the quote for the new one and I only want to purchase a new one. This left with only option, which was the showroom piece with all options installed. I told him that I live two and half hours away from the dealership and need to make sure that he will definitely honor price since the email didn't mention anything about Demo as I didn't request a quote for Demo model. He said that I will be impossible to sell me that showroom piece for the price that was quoted, so I might not consider coming in. However, he said, David Pierce is a manager and Clem has no power to make any decisions over him. And since David said he would take care of me, then he would take care of me when I get there. So, made a request that can he make sure that David is there to make the deal when we get there since he is a manager and he is the one who provided the quote in the email. Clem talked to David again, and said that would be no problem with David. So, after work, around 5PM, wife and I decided to drive down two and half hours to Honda of Concord. So, before we leave, I called and let Clem know that we were coming and that let David know that we would be there in 2 and half hours later. Okay, was the answer and off we go. 2 and half hours later, we get there. As soon as we arrive in the parking lot and park the car, a swarm of Volchurs gather around car even before we get out. We felt like we were about to be ripped apart in pieces if we didn't run away or to come to their terms right there! Finally, we made into the build and asked for Clem and David. Clem comes up front and greets as very pleasantly. Throughout the whole ordeal, He was the only human around and in the dealership wearing Hendrick Uniform. He indicated that he was working with another customer who went for dinner and will be back in about an hour, until that time he was ours. He showed us the car in the showroom and set at the table very next to the Car. He prints out the email David sent, and work order papers to negotiate a deal. He again said that he cannot do $26,105.61 for that car. But he can work something about for the Demo Model. I repeated to him that I was there because his manager said provided an email with a quote for new Accord and that is what I was there to purchase. If he wasn't going to give me the showroom piece than, I was fine with another one but same EX-L V6 4Door w/Navi. He said they didn't have any other. So, I said, then it becomes their responsibility to give me what I was quoted for. He goes to the Glass office where all the big Volchurs gather around. The comes back after few minutes and says, they will not do the price for the showroom piece. I said why not bring David over and let's talk to him. He said, David was away and they are calling him to come into dealership. Few minutes later, Clem's customer returned from Dinner so he requested our pardon to assist them while we wait for David to showup. We were fine with that. So, as nice as he is, he actually, assigned another sales guy to us around. So second salesman, shows a few cars around while we wait for David. 30 mins pass and we were getting tired waiting for David to show up, so we ask the this guy to call David and find out when he was going to be in. He right away said David is off today. As you can imagine, we became very frustrated with that answer! So, then reviewed the all the papers that Clem had printed out and said that the quote David has mentioned was impossible to and then More
AWFUL. I have never felt so harrassed by a dealership in my LIFE. If you have to ask for information online, DON'T. I was in the market for a Honda CR-V and contacted the dealership online to find out m my LIFE. If you have to ask for information online, DON'T. I was in the market for a Honda CR-V and contacted the dealership online to find out more about their prices. I didn't hear back before I was going to go car shopping in person, so I went to the dealership to see what they had. First bad experience: Lot Vultures. They swarm your car before you can even get out. I HATE that. Second bad experience: We just wanted to talk about prices. I know ALL dealerships get crazy when it comes to stepping the office, but this trip was INSANE. They pressure you to sign documents promising you'll purchase a vehicle that day if they offer a price you like. I told the guy in advance I wanted to know prices and that we were NOT going to buy that day because we needed time to think about it since we JUST started looking. The guy got visibly ANGRY that we were not going to sign and continued to pressure us. He didn't try to adjust his stance, or even TRY to meet our needs that day in any way. We left. Third bad experience: The Internet Sales rep emailed me to follow up on what I wished to know. I replied- politely- that we had already purchased a vehicle, and would not be continuing our search but thanks anyway. He writes back with this gem: "Damion actually spoke with your husband who told us that you were going to be in Sunday to pick up the CRV. We had it all cleaned and ready for you. It is ok if you were not going to come back in like you promised Saturday, but at least you could have told us Sunday that you really weren't coming back so we did not hold a vehicle for you. " Lies. Pure lies. My husband said no such thing and we never asked for them to hold a vehicle. And what's with the "like you promised" comment? Maybe we misread the email but we both found it very upsetting. I called the manager to complain about the email- a missed customer today, if taken care of is a potential customer of tomorrow. I told them that thanks to their Sales staff and their LIES we will NEVER step foot in Honda of Concord again. More
I was asked if a deal was acceptable, when I agreed to the deal the sales manager repudiated it. I was offered a price of $31,500 for an Odyssey if I could wait 4 weeks for delivery, when I agreed to t the deal the sales manager repudiated it. I was offered a price of $31,500 for an Odyssey if I could wait 4 weeks for delivery, when I agreed to these terms, I was told it would be $32,500 PLUS I had to give them my trade-in! Needless to say, I will never go back to this dealer or any other Hendrick owned dealership. More
