The dealership had misplaced my second key and thankfully were able to provide me with a new one at no cost to me. My service Tech was Tanner Carnes. He was polite, quick and professional. I definitely recommend Tanner if you need a new key! More

It must have been a Friday because the original salesman that I was working with passed me on to another salesman. I remember as it got near 6:00 p.m. the second salesman's wife or girlfriend kept calling him about an event that he needed to come home for. I was never shown the dash icons and how to check the different diagnostics. I am particular about all of my vehicles and have bought new cars all my adult life. I also return to the money"original dealer of purchase for all maintenance. I returned to Honda of Columbia (Lexington) at about 3,500 miles for my first oil change. It was a Saturday and the service tech says to me "Do you like wasting your money?" I was a little taken aback and he said that I didn't need an oil change and showed me for the first time that the oil icon was only at 30% level. I still didn't understand what I was being shown because these dash icons were unknown to me, I brought my vehicle back again at 5,500 miles and the oil was changed without argument from the service tech. Well now is the one year anniversary of the vehicle, so I went on line for an appointment for SERVICE. My service request was oil change, tire rotation, and complete diagnostic service that my car is one year old. The appointment was made. I arrived at the dealership 30 minutes early and sat in line for several minutes. The service tech came out, I told him that I had an appointment. He asked what I wanted done and I told him. He said pull over to the Express Service. I explained that the car was a year old and that I wanted a complete "go over" of my vehicle. He said all I wanted was an oil change to pull over the Express Service door. I said no and left. So with 2 out of 3 bad experiences I will be considering my options for finding a dealership with better customer service. More

Offered me shuttle service to and from the dealership within the local area, so I wouldn’t have to wait all day on 3/11/2019 in the waiting area. There were some others who I communicated with in the service department I do not know their names. They were great as well. More
Warning Light I attempted to contact the Honda of Columbia dealership regarding a TPMS (Tire Pressure Maintenance System) warning light. Although I did not receive I attempted to contact the Honda of Columbia dealership regarding a TPMS (Tire Pressure Maintenance System) warning light. Although I did not receive a direct response, I deduced that the problem was the cold weather that was lowering the tire pressure so that the TPMS warning light would activate. The problem appears to be resolved. More
The worst service I had a nail in my tire and took it in to get repaired. A few days prior I had been to tire discounters because of my TPMS sensor was on. They verifie I had a nail in my tire and took it in to get repaired. A few days prior I had been to tire discounters because of my TPMS sensor was on. They verified at tire discounters that there was a nail and the tire needed to be replaced. I called Honda to see if my odyssey was under a warranty (my van had been purchased a year ago). They told me at Honda the most I would have to pay was 50% of the tire. So I had plans to go there instead of having to pay full price for the tire. I go to Honda a few days later and told them I had a nail in the tire. I waited for an hour until the service rep said no you don’t. Actually I do how about you look again. So they took it back and guess what I did have a nail. I waited for another hour for them to put 1 tire on. They came back and told me the new tire was on and that would be $156! I wonder if they didn’t listen because I’m a female? They actually lied to me and said they inspected my tires and I was good to go. I will never come back here. This department can’t be trusted. Poor Service and staff does not seem to care I purchased my Honda CRV one year ago in Ohio. I moved to South Carolina. This is the first time using this dealership. The shifter broke on my Ho I purchased my Honda CRV one year ago in Ohio. I moved to South Carolina. This is the first time using this dealership. The shifter broke on my Honda. I brought the car in. The part is not a stock part and has to be ordered. I returned one week later. They took my car and 45 MINUTES later the service manager comes and tells me the wrong part was ordered and I would have to come back again. I was told not to make an appointment. Just bring the car in and due to my inconvenience they would take me right away without an appointment. I waited another week. I called and the new part was in. I had to go out of town so I asked a friend to bring in my car. When he arrived, they asked him if he had an appointment. He explained the situation to them. They said he could wait but it would be atleast 45 minutes but probably longer since there was a person ahead of him who had been waiting two hours. They said the best thing to do would be to return with an appointment because they still might not be able to repair the car even though it was supposed to be a simple fix. My friend contacted me. I reached out to the service department. The service representative said that was the way it would be so I asked to speak with her manager who knew of my situation. It went straight to voice mail. I called back and spoke with Danny in sales and asked for the general manager. He said he would connect me with Mr. Lawson. I explained I did want to be put into voice mail. He said he could see Mr. Lawson in his office and it would not go to voicemail. He connected me and it went straight to voice mail. I left a message and as of one hour later I still had not received a call back. Of course no one seems to care. My friend could not wait any longer. He had to make an appointment. This will be our fourth trip back to this dealership to get something fixed that should take only a few minutes. My advice if you deal with anyone in this place is get their names so this does not happen to you. More
Superior service at all times. "Beth" I am a repeat customer of Honda of Columbia...6 Hondas purchased from this dealership over the course of several years. During the course of this year I am a repeat customer of Honda of Columbia...6 Hondas purchased from this dealership over the course of several years. During the course of this year, I have had all our cars serviced with their Service Department, even after the warranty has expired. While I have acknowledged Jamie before, would like to do so again. Jamie Bostrom is always accommodating. Several of our Hondas are older and have needed considerable work this year. Today is no exception. I placed the call early this morning to ask if he could take a look at the car and, as is always the case, was very accommodating. While it is part of the job, I appreciate his professionalism and his approach to what is often a very stressful time. More
