bad and deceitful sales men and the workshop is full of crap technicians and managers. got a preowned car from this dealer, i was obligated to have an extended warranty. from the day i got the car the star crap technicians and managers. got a preowned car from this dealer, i was obligated to have an extended warranty. from the day i got the car the started having problems, i took the car to their workshop only to be messed up by their technicians. the manager is so dishonest to a fault and i doubt if they have a supervisor that oversee the day to day activities. i brought my car to the workshop for oil change and a leak in the coolant bottle, and they diagnosed that the radiator needs to be replaced. can you imagine for 2 weeks they are still replacing a radiator? after radiator they say my air condition, my heater and clutch plate. oh my god. where did all this come from? they messed up my car with their unqualified techs. i am going to see the end of this More
Outstanding assitance from Pre-owned sales Abdal DartTaha. He was considerate of my time and worked to make this the most pleasant purchase Ive had in my 50+ years. Cheers Abdal ! Now the negatives: DartTaha. He was considerate of my time and worked to make this the most pleasant purchase Ive had in my 50+ years. Cheers Abdal ! Now the negatives: A month after trading in and buying, my bank says Ive missed a car note because the dealship still hasnt paid off my trade in. The truck I bought broke a strut the second time I drove it- cost me $900 to repair- mechanic said whoever had it shouldve known as it was causing a tire to rub. More
I live in Hawaii and wanted to buy a Honda HRV for my son who lives in Alvin. I contacted Honda of clear Lake first but they told me there were no HRV inventories and they would contact me if new inventory who lives in Alvin. I contacted Honda of clear Lake first but they told me there were no HRV inventories and they would contact me if new inventory arrives. i contacted other two dealers nearby. I was shocked when they gave me the ridiculous high price quotes becasue they added MVA (market value adjustment $2999 and $3999). That was a rip off. I was so frustrated that I decided to buy a Ford car. At that moment, I received an email from Steve from Honda of Clear Lake. He informed me that new inventory is coming. and whether I am still interested in buying a new HRV. I said yes and asked for a price quote. I was expecting to see another ridiculous high price with MVA. To my surprise, Steve gave me a very reasonable price without MVA. After a few email exchanges with Steve in less than 10 minutes, we had a deal. Steve asked Lijo (Joe) to help me with the completion of the final transactions. Joe is such a nice guy. He went extra mile by driving more than 10 miles to pick up my son to sign all the documents at Clear Lake. I really enjoy my buying experience at Honda of Clear Lake. They are very honest and professional! I will definitely buy car from them again. More
I recently brought in my 2018 Ridgeline for routine maintenance and had to take a minute to share my experience. Honda of Clear Lake is THE standard for ALL dealership service centers! The estimated ti maintenance and had to take a minute to share my experience. Honda of Clear Lake is THE standard for ALL dealership service centers! The estimated time from start to finish is always accurate and reasonable, even on their busiest days. The waiting area is more than comfortable and generously equipped with refreshments. However, it is the top-notch professionalism and friendliness that wins me over every time! Special thanks to my go-to service associate (Ted Holt) and the service department manager whose team demonstrates outstanding performance! 5 STARS-WORTHY! More
Terrible customer experience. This must be a 0 stars review. My advice is DO NOT TRUST what they say, intead read carefully all the small letters and all docs you sign, or you might end paying for some review. My advice is DO NOT TRUST what they say, intead read carefully all the small letters and all docs you sign, or you might end paying for some unwanted services or charges. Thanks to my bank I found out they were charging these unwanted services or products. Their service department staff are simple UNPROFESSIONAL, they are not trained to treat customers. If you are expecting a friendly smile or a "thank you for your business (= your money)", you are in the wrong place. They don't even say hello or look at you at all when talking to them. I am not longer using their "free oil change" service to avoid the disgusting visit to this place. I will never come back to this place, I prefer to pay for the service at another Honda dealer, but never ever at Honda of Clear Lake. They should consider offering customer service training to their staff and managers, this might reduce the loss of customers and a lot of ugly reviews. More

I moved to the area about 18 months ago, so I have only visited this dealership 3 times. The first time was for an oil change and tire rotation. They found a nail in the tire, and repaired it at no addit visited this dealership 3 times. The first time was for an oil change and tire rotation. They found a nail in the tire, and repaired it at no additional charge. The second time was to have the patch they installed corrected. My tire was losing air, which it wasn't doing with the nail in it. Again, they repaired it without charge. The third time was for another oil change and tire rotation. They did not appear to be busy, but it took about 15 minutes for someone to be available to check in my car. He took my information and keys and said they would get me in as soon as possible so I could get on my way. No time commitment was given. Two hours later, I am just getting my car back. It is first come, first serve, so I can't really fault them for the time it took. I just wish he gave me an indication of how long it would have been instead of saying he will get me in as soon as possible. That made me think it would be soon. When I saw my car being pulled in, I stood by the window to watch. I saw the tech change the left side tires, front to back and back to front. I thought I may have missed something, as I know the back tires cross over as they move to the front. I watched closer as he changed the right side. Again, front to back and back to front. When my car was ready, I questioned them about how they rotate tires. He said they should have crossed the rears as they moved them. He then called the service manager, who confirmed that. Since they were not rotated correctly, they said they would take it back out and correct it. This was fine, but now I had to wait another 20 minutes for work that should have been completed the first time. I tried contacting the service department, concerned that I am paying for work that is not being done correctly. It has been almost a week , and I have not heard back from anyone. At this point, I do not feel comfortable returning for service work. I do not feel that I should have to watch over them to make sure the work I am paying for is done correctly. More
Their Internet sales department will send you an online quote to lure you in, but once you get to the dealership they add thousands in ridiculous dealer fees on top of tax title and license. I hope this helps you understand where your customer I hope this helps you understand where your customer service is, and how it does in deed. I have been contacted by my friend who bought 2020 Honda I hope this helps you understand where your customer service is, and how it does in deed. I have been contacted by my friend who bought 2020 Honda Accord few months ago at Big Star Hound for very good price; 19500$ and the vehicle cost him out of the door just a little above 21000$. I started looking for Accords, and got in touch with Clear Lake Honda internet sales. They send me a quote for 19300$ Honda Accord 2020, I have the e-mail. I asked them to reconfirm price and they did, with manager Steve Bramlet. However, before I had taken off from my work to get to the Honda Clear Lake dealership, I wanted to get the out of the door price, and guess what. For the car we had discussed, which has been confirmed to be 19300$, the out of the door quote was 27000$ plus. The cost of the vehicle was suddenly 25700$. I will never even consider your dealership again, and I am sure none of my friends too. I have even more comments on the way your sales manager conducted over the phone, but that is up to your internal quality control and customer service to deal with. Just to say, I got what I wanted today with different Honda dealership, for the price which is even 500$ less. I am very very disappointed that from dealership to dealership, the way you treat customer is not the same and your place is among the worst I have ever dealt with. Stanko More
