After all the paper work we got the key to the car and the sales person showed the way out by just opening the door. It was cold and me and family are out looking for our new car in the cold. This was a horrible experience for me. Why they don't have the salesmanship to deliver the car or at least show where our car is? More

My husband and I had done our homework (knew of incentives, rebates, sales, U.S. News target price, had CarMax offer for our trade-in) before visiting the Chantilly dealership. Working with Justin was the frosting on the cake. He never blinked at our requests, quickly located the exact vehicle we wanted, took our trade-in off our hands, and offered us a new car price we couldn't refuse. No haggling, no fuss. We went through our insurance company's car buying service which made it much simpler regarding negotiating price. We hate haggling and this method alleviated that issue. Tyler Stewart, our assigned sales rep, was very amiable and personable and he answered all of our questions regarding the vehicle's equipment and specs. After our test drive, we decided on an in-stock vehicle and Tyler quickly processed all the initial paperwork. Since we had our financing already pre-arranged, that part was a breeze. While we did have to wait a bit for all the final paperwork to be prepared, once we were in the finance office, we completed the transaction within 15 minutes. While we were doing that, Tyler made sure the final preps were done and the car was ready to go about 10 minutes after we got out of Finance. I had expected to be there about 2 hours and it turned out to be about 3 so not a bad guess. I would recommend going during the week to avoid crowds on weekends. All in all, our experience at Honda of Chantilly was positive and would certainly consider them again in the future should we decide on another Honda. I cannot rate the maintenance department yet since I have not used them but I will do so once I come in for my first appointment. More

Mike Waters is the best! We had an excellent experience buying our 2015 Honda CR-V Touring AWD from Honda of Chantilly. Anybody thinking about a Honda should consider them. We had an excellent experience buying our 2015 Honda CR-V Touring AWD from Honda of Chantilly. Anybody thinking about a Honda should consider them. We reached out several weeks ago to salesman Mike Waters because of the great reviews for him we found online. While he was very busy Stephanie Kirkner forward our info to him and kept us posted as to when he would get back to us. Mike deserves all that praise. Mike dealt with us fairly, he was responsive, and he treated us with respect. For example, we used email for most of our discussions with dealerships. A lot of salesmen kept saying we needed to come in to hear their best deal. That's ridiculous. That's just an attempt to rush a buyer into making a purchase. Mike didn't do that. He understood how we wanted to operate and he didn't push us to come in until we were ready. On top of everything else, he got us a very good deal. Mike's approach meant that when we did go to get the car, all the details were in order and we felt at ease. He's a top notch salesman in our book. When we picked up the car we also dealt with Robert Fraker of the dealership's finance team, and Andy McMurtry, who demonstrated many of the car's tech features. Both were excellent. We came in with pre-arranged financing at a very attractive rate. Robert didn't waste time trying to talk us into something else because he knew he couldn't beat what we had. What's more, his effort to sell us an extended warranty and paint and fabric protection was subdued and respectful. We knew he'd try (every dealership does), we listened, we told him no, and that was that. It was great that he didn't push it beyond that. After all the paperwork was completed, Andy spent almost an hour with us going through the car's safety features, settings, satellite radio, and navigation. It's a lot to absorb at the end of a long day. He did a great job explaining what we were most interested in rather than insisting on going through an entire prepared briefing. One thing about the dealership building. It's new - open less than a year - and that made a huge difference in the overall experience. Every part of it is clean, including the enormous service area, and the waiting areas are bright and open. Now, we were there early on a weekday morning, so I can't say what the place is like on a busy Saturday. But as dealerships go, this one is top notch. Overall, I recommend Honda of Chantilly to anybody who will buy a Honda. It's out of the way for a lot of people, but worth the trip. A couple of weeks after we got the car we thought we might have had some service issues but we did not. We did not have service issues per se. We had more questions about our new 2015 CRV Honda Touring AWD and wanted to show Chris some items on the car. He was very helpful and answered all of our questions. He said to email him anytime if we had anymore questions. Chris was knowledgeable, honest, and focused on our concerns. We came all the way from Alexandria, VA during the week and did not want to deal with anyone else. We paid a lot of $$$ for our new car and we want to make sure we understand how the car works. We have not bought a new car since 2006 and now it is like driving a computer. We hope when we have actual service done we will still have a 5x feeling! More

I informed him that I wanted to try purchasing a car without a cosigner. During the entire visit and shopping process he remained optimistic and attentive to my requests and needs. Micheal Chinn, the financial manager who handled my application, made my experience a very personable one. He worked well with my budget, remained within my means, while making sure I had obtained the best car fitting all of my needs. Needless to say, Honda of Chantilly provided me with excellent service, a wonderful car, and with a genuine first time car buying experience. More

I had a very good experience with Ernie Mullins (sales) and Michael Chinn (Financing). Those guys put me at ease and answered all my questions. They did not use any high-pressure tactics at all. And, despite all that, they offered a very good price on a new car. I am very satisfied with my experience at the dealership. More
